Just watched BBC Bristol News and the Gas can’t be playing, they mentioned the Ted’s playing Leicester and Cheltenham looking for a new manager and playing Stevenage tomorrow …. Not a word about the Gas 👀🤫 BBC 😂🤣😂 |

200 extra tickets released for the Thatchers end. Similar number in East Terrace and about 40 in the Family enclosure. I have not counted the dots accurately!

Got to say that was an amazing 2.05 minutes of in sight into Wigan: They play out from the back ,we play out from the back it 's all about who imposes on who on the day .....and that's it. Question....what was the point?

Looking forward to this one , hopefully we’ll get it forwards and go at them on the front foot from the off.
It’ll be my first game since my dad passed away and he was football mad like myself and although a Pompey fan through and through he took me to many Rovers games when I was a kid in the Twerton days just because he knew what live football was about and he said to me when I was 6 years old to support the Rovers son because they always support their club through thick and thin and City don’t.
It didn’t mean much at the time but obviously it was shortly after the 82ers shithousery so I get it now and I’m glad he pointed me in the right direction even though the Rovers weren’t in his blood.
It’ll be my mums first game for a while too she’s been solid Gas since those days too but had been his career for years so has missed a lot of matches recently.
Funnily enough one of the district nurses that was coming to the house every day recently is a Gashead and she had said that she would arrange for either her or someone else to look after him on Saturday afternoons so Mum could watch the Gas which I thought was a lovely gesture and typical of the Gas way.
Unfortunately he died last weekend anyway but at least that very kind lady and my mum can both cheer on the Gas tomorrow to hopefully 3 points.

I checked last night, no terrace tickets available, so I resigned myself to not going, and was considering alternative plans. A friend then messaged me to say more released! Had he not done so, I would not have checked again, and would not have bought a ticket. I guess there must be some logic to this that means earlier panic buys outweigh potential loss of last minute purchasers such as myself. |

Can't see as you can cram very much in depth analysis into a 2 minute interview, perhaps if you could be a 'fly on the wall' at the Quarters you may learn more about preparations for forthcoming matches? most such manager interviews are about the same old recycled questions and the same old recycled answers and as you say a bit pointless. |

Sometimes and very rarely you get something different , but for us watching/listening it's just damn right boring. It's a duty they have to do I suppose.

Couldn’t make it today, and annoyingly ticket exchange for ST holders to sell their ticket still doesn’t seem to be working (at least for the Thatchers anyway). A pity because the money I built up from the few games I missed at the end of last season has paid for our Oxford tickets.
