Have been putting some thought into how long a sub has to be on the pitch to merit a score.
The earliest sub to day was in the 81st minute.
So I think we will accept scores on subs made on or up to the 80th minute, so in todays case all subs will be NOLE.
Hope that is OK with everybody.

Cox 6 a bit naive non streetwise for their goal but otherwise not much to do.
Hunt 9 faultless. Goal, assist and excellent rwb.
Taylor 8.5 Wyke - who - pocket?
Grant 8.5 best match and a natural in a 3 defence.
Vale 7 blended perfectly, still learning his trade.
Bogarde 8 great match and support for the defence.
Evans 8.5 wonderous performance back to what we know he can do.
Finley 9 my m o m , excellent tenacious and one assist.
Thomas 7.5 nice starter to keep his form bubbling.
Marquis 8 centre forward special and generally made himself a nuisance.
Collins 8 Aaza we know and love....he just looks like he's enjoying his football.

Ref 5 some baffling decisions! One move they won a fair 50/50 which rolled onto another 50/50, which we won fairly - nope, foul and booking. (?)
Wigan 4 poor. We over ran then in every department. Dominated in possession and off the ball, tracked and marked better. Great all round performance sending messages to teams around us next to play: who do you mark on goals?

Cox 7 - could of done better for the goal but looked calm and assured throughout
Hunt 8 - good display in defence and attack
Taylor 7 - gave as good as he got
Grant 7.5 - Very good. Moved the ball quicker that our other centre backs have and good positional sense (apart from their goal)
Vale 7 - improved as the game went on. Hope that he will get an opportunity to play in midfield or attack soon.
Bogarde 7 - number of careless mistakes in first half which could of been costly but looked better and better as the game went on
Evans 7.5 - back to somewhere near his best. Needs to be played in his best position
Finley 8 - have been critical of Sam in the last year but he was awesome
Thomas 7.5 - Good goal and works so hard
Marquis 7.5 - Just what we need from a centre forward
Collins 7.5 - Sloppy at the times in the first half but enough magic to give hope that he will again be the best player in League 1

Cox 7 he needs to be a bit more aware that this season blatant fouls arent always given ,other than that a confident display Hunt 9 M.o.M a superb game, capped with a goal and an assist,we've been crying out for a good experienced RB for ages. Taylor 8.5 without Hunt he would have been m.o.m. commanding and a great organiser. Grant 8 a quality game from a quality player, I just hope he can stay fit. Vale 7.5 his versatility is worth two players Bogarde 8 the engine that never stops working Evans 8.5 , when Evans plays well the team plays well,he has regained his promotion season form. Finley 8 his best game this year, dropping him seems to have had the desired effect. Thomas 8 a lovely goal and an all round good game Marquis 8 a good game, an excellent goal and a master class of the dark arts ! Collins 8 lively, he's emerging from a bad few months, the goals are returning Brown McCormick Hoole Woods Sinclair Ref 5 its a good job Wigans 'goal' was only a consolation,that apart got most things right. Wigan 5 well beaten,heads dropped, totally outplayed Bideford 10 thanks for resurrecting the ratings subject, win,lose or draw its always interesting to read other fans views |
