It's time to rewrite the record books again. Playing Posh at their place is rarely pleasant. We have played them at their venue in 20 league games. Won 2-1 on 29/03/1997 and 25/02/2006. Lost 9 times and 9 draws. We do well against them at Home and have won two cup fixtures on their turf. Time to beat them 3-0. I think we’ve taken 4 points off them from our last two games ? which isn’t bad considering they are one of our biggest bogey teams over the last 30 years. All we’ve got to do is beat them tomorrow and beat Accrington Stanley at their place next time we play them and the predictable Rovers defeats of old can be well and truly forgotten. Well , those and everytime we play bottom of the league at home and play utter sh**e and get beat 1-0 , that too. Up The Gas |
