You did'nt say which poster was talking rubbish ? doesn't matter, just fed up with certain posters slating the manager and team when we have so many injuries, we have got the best team we've had down there in years, some are never happy, it will come good soon, we still drew against a top of the table team even with all the injuries Since 1st January 2023 35 games played 10 wins 8 draws 17 losses 38 scored 50 conceded GD minus 12 38 points in total which is 1.08 PPG Not far off a calendar season soon Krugs, how long can you hide behind injuries and he said when taking over from Garner that he was sorting out injury record and even brought in his own physio? It was his choice to give Mark Hughes, Pitman, Leon Clarke, Trevor Clarke, Rossiter, Friend, Ward, Thomas, these deals and all of them seasoned pros played in the Championship or above……..in many cases a quick flick on Wikipedia tells you we were singing 🦽

James, you will soon be back, the new manager always say everyone gets a clean slate with me. (Unless Jennings and Barton have signed a stupid Cox must play every week deal) Made a scapegoat, new bloke no better, fancy with his feet passing to limited players, not a true shot stopper. See you soon Belly. Not a chance 🤔😊

Cox clearly has silly mistakes in him still - running into Connor Taylor causing both to miss last night for instance - but he had pulled off 2 good stops just before that and saved us the game several times second half. Much as I like Belly his boat has sailed and Cox(swain) is at the tiller now.

People on here clearly forget Belshaws appalling end to last season and a very indifferent start to this including the friendlies where his mind seemed to be clearly elsewhere. Not only my observations but others on here as well.

You know my views on Barton so no need to go there again but last season our form dipped when Rossiter got injured and we have a replacement who for me was just finding his stride with us until a silly red at Burton. Last night showed how we missed him as he controls the midfield well and is constantly marshaling players to where they should be we certainly didn't have anyone doing that last night.

Barton’s record in league one with us is atrocious even if you take out the half a season people seem happy to say wasn’t his fault.

Much as I like Belly his boat has sailed and Cox(swain) is at the tiller now. One of those stops was straight at him and the other he should have caught as it came from a distance and nobody touched it. He's young and still learning, but at the moment he doesn't command his area and he doesn't make himself big when coming out. He could probably do when an experienced centre back in front of him, helping him out a little.

Fair comments Bill, I thought we missed Woods last night as well but one player doesn’t make a team.

Fair comments Bill, I thought we missed Woods last night as well but one player doesn’t make a team. Bogarde has done well in the past in that position but was dreadful last night. He couldn’t win a tackle, kept getting caught in possession and couldn’t make even a simple pass. Very disappointing as a lot was expected of him and many thought we didn’t have a chance of getting him back again.

To be honest Eric and Bill, I’m a little tired with it all, I could type a lot on it all and will end up doing this.
4 left backs on the wage, Clarke, Gordon, Friend, Grant 3 right backs on the wage bill, Hoole, Gibbons, Hunt 7 CM on the wage bill, Rossiter, Finely, Ward, Evans, Bogarde, Woods, McCormick
Grant was signed from Plymouth as a CM, I could be 8 really.
5 CB’s on the wage bill, Connolly (no way are Morecombe paying his whole ex Champ club Cardiff wage and we paid for him as well, he’s on good money, Taylor, Wilson, Crama, Grant has been in playing here.
The budget has been used badly in my opinion, I’ve worked out we’ve probably got 6/7 top six players and then you have to factor in injuries.
We were lucky we signed an unemployed Martin who hadn’t decided to retire who lives in Bristol and bailed us out last night.
Granted we miss Rossiter and Woods but we have bigger problems than them just missing. We beat Wigan 4-1 and neither played against them, well Woods came on in the 88th minute……..this game the midfield was Evans, Finely, Bogarde, probably three of our most inconsistent players and why none of them get in a top 6 side. All three are continually dropped, subbed early in games and then brought back in but against Wigan they looked brilliant! I’d say the same of Ward as well, we don’t even own Woods, next summer is a complete overhaul again.
It’s every position as well, we don’t have top 6 players because good players deliver consistently good performances, who does for us?

Have we had a chance to field our best team yet? Anyone know our best team? Does JB? Mine would be Cox Hunt,Taylor, Wilson, Friend Woods & Evans Thomas, Brown, Collins Marquis (Although the plan would have been JCH!) Whether that is anything like JB would have in mind I don’t know but how far are the current injuries from allowing him that choice? We should have plenty enough quality to be getting better results than we have been and the players need to start performing somewhere closer to what they are capable of. Must win Saturday no matter what
