Might have been better if the news channels waited before apportioning blame as there is too much going on to be verifiable that quickly. We just don't know at this point. There was a defence expert tweeting about the footage released, in his opinion it was most likely a rocket rather than a bomb. And I am aware of the footage being denied and accused of being something else, so no need to post memes about timestamps, etc. Thanks on advance. |

I don't know we'll ever know for sure who was responsible. It's probably more comfortable to believe it was the terrorists rather than Israel, but I can't bring myself to believe Biden would be there saying otherwise either. Have Hamas still got the means to produce this level of destruction of a site that Israel have been threatening to bomb, and who the most effective propaganda machine? In the grand scheme of this it feels like it hardly matters as many have made their minds up already |

Hamas build command centres in residential homes, hospitals and schools. They do this to draw sympathy from the likes of you. Israel’s strikes came with leafleting campaigns. I’ve seen claims that the notice given wasn’t long enough, I’ve seen claims that civilians were attacked as they left, I’ve seen counter claims that this is BS. I’m not going to believe Hamas, especially after I saw them parading that raped and murdered girl around in the back of a truck, legs clearly broken, spitting on her corpse and cheering. Call me a sceptic, but I don’t naturally believe reports from the side doing this - openly targeting civilians than the other who warned civilians. It’s all available on twitter - unless these are deep fakes. What’s your solution to this issue? After the massacre, you’re Isreal. You know Hamas have their tunnel network under civilians. Do nothing and they kill more. How would you solve it? The IDF, Unit 8200 and hasbara trolls flood the Internet with disinformation to draw outrage from the likes of you as pretext to justify war crimes and what experts are describing as "a textbook case of genocide" that is being carried out. Leafletting campaigns (the Americans dropped leaflets on Japan before they nuked them) after you've already dropped more bombs than the US did to Afghanistan on the most densely populated area on the planet and then bombing those trying to flee is a war crime. Leaflets telling people to leave or be bombed could equate to forceable transfer and a war crime in itself. Israel collectively punishing the Palestinians is certainly a war crime.
The propaganda about beheaded babies originating from an extremist settler in the IDF and given to the i24 News channel (government mouthpiece) has fallen apart with media and journalists backing away from it, the mother of the German girl who was allegedly raped and killed (that you are horrified by and mention) was reportedly interviewed and said she is alive and being looked after in a Gaza hospital and there is nothing to substantiate the rape allegations from initial reports according to the LA Times.
 This IDF tweet has been edited to remove the "evidence" because it's time stamp indicates it was shot 40 minutes AFTER the hospital was bombed:
As I pointed out, we have seen similar lies previously from Israel. A 2009 UN Fact-Finding Mission looking at the genocidal 08-09 'Operation Cast Lead' or 'Gaza Massacre' found that without warning Israel directly and intentially bombed hospitals with White Phosphorus munitions and then lied and tried to claim Hamas fighters were operating from there. The UN mission rejected those allegations from the Israeli government.  |

You say the response from Israel is disproportionate can I ask, in your view, what would be a proportionate response? how many innocent Palestinians can Israel kill to make it proportionate? The bombing of Coventry was the single most concentrated attack on a British City during World war 2. In one night 4300 homes were destroyed and an estimated 554 deaths.It is said that Churchill ordered the bombing of Dresden as payback for Coventry. The bombing of Dresden killed in excess of 25000 people. Was Dresden in your view disproportionate, was it genocide, was it a war crime? It probably helped to bring the war in Europe to an end. Was Hiroshima disproportionate even though it effectively bought the war to an end? Imagine if these events hadn't happened where would the world be now? If Hammas decide to attack the state of Israel who as you say are a military machine how do they expect Israel to respond? It's the innocent civilians on both sides who I feel for. It's wrong for Israel to cut off supplies/water etc to Gaza but I'm sorry the word genocide is too freely used these days. What happened to the Jews was genocide, what happened in Rwanda and Cambodia was genocide this unfortunately is war instigated by Hamas.   |
