I don't live too far from Burton and it hasn't stopped raining since last night and is due to keep raining until tomorrow morning. Hopefully they have good drainage. Likewise. There are so many roads closed, and it won't get better until 11 o'clock tonight, then there's more rain forecast for the morning. Get yer wellies ready.

They are going to have another inspection tomorrow morning at 09:00. It doesn't look good though. One side of the pitch is waterlogged and it is still raining. It is due to stop soon and as long as it doesn't rain any more tonight there is a chance it will still be on. Not even sure if any trains are running (the ones from London to Burton certainly aren't)

The pitch is apparently playable but the nearby River Don has burst its banks!

I am really looking forward to seeing a game finally after so long, but maybe we would benefit from a postponement due to injuries.
Ward really impressed so having him back with more time to get fit would be a major plus. Hunt too of course and he looks doubtful for tomorrow but apparently isn't far away.

Not normally one to troll , but went on Burtons fans site to get updates on the weather , they seem confident the weather will hold ( light rain ) , but never
gauranteed. Interesting they use Pro board so their site is basically like ours except in yellow. Couldn't help but look at one thread , titled most arrogant fans.
Surprise surprise they had Derby right up there...

My bookie has a Rovers win the lowest odds. So we are favourites.

Not at all confident it'll be on. Some roads flooded up here. Gutted it'll be a wasted trip for us.

I live ten minutes from Burton and it hasn't stopped raining for eighteen hours. If it's off, I feel for those trying to get to the rearranged fixture on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening. On the other hand, we could benefit from having a few more first teamers back if we can somehow halt so many breaking down particularly away from actual games.

We sure need some football to watch, but if the pitch is awful I think I’d rather it was off, we’ve been playing some lovely stuff lately and our style really needs a good surface 👍🏾

Any update? The pitch is either playable or not at this point. It won’t get any better or worse with the amount of rain we’ve had in this part of the country in the last 24 hours.
