Bookies offering 14/1 for an away win, with our awful cup record against non league teams,is it worth a few quid? I can't bring myself to do it,but it would ease the pain.

Home much advertising of the quid a kid have the club done?
I know the Kevin Costner film Field of Dreams tagline was "if you build it, they will come" but in the real world you have to put in the effort to try and increase attendances. Something on Twitter that preaches to the converted is hardly "advertising"
How difficult is it to send emails to schools and youth clubs and press in the area (and Whitby) to make sure they are aware?

A long way to travel, but according to their website tickets sales are strong!
Tickets for Whitby Town's Emirates FA Cup First Round fixture away at Bristol Rovers are now on online general sale. Nathan Haslam takes his Seasiders to the South West for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, 4th November and sales opened for in-person purchases on Saturday afternoon in the club's hospitality lounge.
Following a strong attendance for the initial selling of tickets, only a limited number of match tickets and places on the club's supporters coaches remain available.
Tickets will be in the form of paper. Please note that online tickets must be purchased by Wednesday lunch time to enable sufficient time for them to arrive via post.
Town's allocation includes 400 pre-sold tickets, along with an additional 100 tickets which will be available to purchase on the turnstiles.
Children under 16 are not permitted to attend unless accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over.
Supporters purchasing any concession ticket are advised to carry proof of age as this may be requested at the turnstiles.

Anyone else had this
Went online and bought my Whitby tickets last night, I have been sent the confirmation email but not the tickets, I have checked junk folder and they are not in there either, been trying the shop all day and an automated answer saying they are busy and try again later, god knows what later means, 1st call was around 11am and I've been trying ever since?

Delighted for this young lad Ollie Dewsbury. Scored our goal in the FA Youth Cup defeat this week and looks a good prospect. 3 goals in 5 apps for Wales at U15/U16 level.

Just started watching Sheppey Utd v Walsall….. plastic pitch. I hate them and would seriously stop watching if it became the norm or the Gas had one at the Mem .

I can't understand how the FA allows them at this stage of the cup, as the home team must always have a big advantage knowing how the ball bounces etc.

My brothers recently done his ACL from studs sticking in that type of fake surface whilst trying to turn. Completely destroyed ACL, needs a new one made from a part of his hamstring! The only real benefit is no postponement of matches which is crucial at that level, everything else in the bin.

I don’t know whether I’m having a senior moment here but I’m trying to buy the tickets online for the thatchers and it’s only showing tickets for a £1 , does this mean all the adult tickets have gone ? Surely not for a cup match ??
