Can't argue with any of that. I can . Like I put in the Collins thread , he’s level third of players in our division for goal assists this season. That’s got to count for something surely ? The 'assists' stat can sometimes be misleading, say for instance I pass the ball 2 yards and you then smash it in from 30 yards I would get an assist. A better way to measure is the xA (expected assists) model which measures the likelihood that a given pass will become an assist. Collins drops down to 19th using xA. |

Can anyone let me know what the food options at the mem are like at the moment? What sort of choices are there? Cheers :-) I liked the smoked salmon on a bed of wilted spinach, grilled beefsteak tomatoes and garlic mushrooms at the last match. Think I’ll try the sausage rolls next time. |

Myself and some other Americans(Well one is a British expat haha) will be watching with some good beer on hand!
Tough way to drop points last time out, but confident we can take all 3 in this one. Key will be to finish our chances when we get them.

Joking aside, I’m really hoping the new owners are looking into improving and thinking outside the box on food at the ground. There’s such massive scope to maximise the desire for good food and drinks. Enticing fans to the ground an hour or so before kick off would benefit the club, nice craft ales and variety of ciders. Bet there are some cracking independent brewers in Bristol who would love to get involved. There is still a market for a burger/chips/pie but make them bloody edible! Little bit of planning and care! UTG I agree, a few seasons back we made a big thing about improving the food at the Mem if you remember, I think we even had a fan engagement night where supporters were invited to the Mem to try a variety of pies and pasties. Then for some reason post Covid we decided to sack off the very decent pies and pasties and brought in the current stuff, which is absolute dross and more expensive. |

That's fair, but remember when he was banging them in from outside the box, the back of the heel, the one on ones, where has all that gone? Yep , looks nothing like the player he was a yr ago but thought it was surprising that although many of us think he’s been poor he’s actually produced the goods . Goods should be goals. |

Score draw I reckon. Hope to get the win - and think we can - but generally not been impressed thus far under Mangan. Touch unlucky at Derby (but they were very poor on the day anyway) but other than that, results have been a little fortuitous; hence I fear a plucky Leyton Orient side may get a share of the spoils tonight.
Fingers crossed my negativity is nonsense and we batter them 3-0.
