Well, hardly inspiring, but dont mind now we are winning!
Highlight was Wilson's hold and lay off to Ward.
Taylor and Gordon best players
Thomas and Vale threatened every now and then.
Get Bogarde on and move Evans into Browns space.

Solid defensively and we’re 1-0 up are positives.
All of the other negatives are still there like not moving it quickly enough , looking a bit lightweight on second balls etc but as I say we haven’t conceded a shot even let alone a goal and great to see a player smash one from 18 yards rather than stop , check and go sideways or backwards like we’ve done so many times this season from shooting positions

Thomas is wasted playing central as soon as he went wide we scored. Switch him to the wing 2nd half please.

Well, not much to say on that half. Defense was shakey early on but fairly uneventful. Lucky to be one up I think.

An uninspiring first half performance from the Gas but pleased to be one up at the break.
Goal by Ward achieved by shooting, why didn't someone think of that before?
Good performances by Taylor, Thomas, Gordon and Vale so far.

My biggest issue with the new stand is that it makes the rest of the ground look even more like Chernobyl. my ocd is coming out, if we have to have supports I wish the goal.net was right in the middle of them, also the corner flags, one at the end of the stand the other has no stand by it, hopefully it will sort itself out when the rest of it gets done but right now I wanna pick that net up and move it 3 foot to the right |

Another very abject half of football under Mangan. Yes we are winning (and I guess it’s a results based business) but it hasn’t been pretty at all and we still look so short of ideas.

Our most creative player (Evans) playing much too deep, doesn't look comfortable in that position. Bit disjointed, but we've looked solid at the back, just need to get a grip in midfield.

Seems a bit of a luxury player, almost like Evans but without the graft. Not sure there’s room for both in the starting 11 tbh. Glad Mangs has dropped Collins though, hopefully he’ll bounce back with a bit of edge about him. |

Everything seems to break down when the ball gets anywhere near Martin, it be would be interesting to see if we played any better with JM or AC playing as the CF. |
