Interesting comment about selling your best players - at Exeter he had to generate revenue through selling players, here he doesn't have that pressure

First impressions are important. I remember listening to tisdales first Interview and thinking what an absolute belter. Which turned out to be correct.
I have to say my first impressions of Taylor are extremely encouraging. He speaks very well and comes across as a very knowledgeable down to earth bloke.
Really hoping this appointment works out.

Just finished listening, came across well and very down to earth. Interesting his background in teaching coming in handy!
Really impressed with how he talks about the players taking responsibility for their performances and putting the work in, even if you're not scoring/assisting you have to contribute to the team in some way.
Feel like he's what we need after the boosterism of the JB era.

Interestingly I picked up on one or 2 things that he probably picked up from Tisdale in his interview. I actually think Tisdale is an intelligent bloke but get the impression he prorbably struggles to connect with his players(something I think Matt might be good at listening to him). |

It's probably the best interview since DC left, interesting he says the formations he played at Exeter were to suit the players not his style of play and he does anticipate wholesale changes in Janaury.
What does MT know we don't when it talks about a 20K capacity stadium and competing with City given the Mem redevelopment will only take capacity up to around 16K?

I'll try not to make comparisons with previous managers and just say he came across as modest, sensible, intelligent and ambitious. All great qualities. I have high hopes for this latest lamb to the slaughter.
