Van Neverstopashot looked solid tonight as did Harries amazingly with zero blunders,not like when he played for us eh. Are….we the baddies…? Haha. Said the other day (re Cox) we love to destroy a players confidence! |

Thought , Harries, was superb. Been superb all season. Different levels though isn’t it? I suspect he’s a very good national league player and a decent league two player. Not sure he’s cut out for our division |

Not sure he’s cut out for our division Wouldn't disagree with any of that, but I also wouldn't rule out him playing at this level again one day in the future if he can continue improving. Always had a costly lapse in concentration when he was with us, but still only 26 and left footed centre back's are desirable, particularly if they are as comfortable on the ball as Harries is and able to pick a pass. |

I wonder where we would be if TW had taken the job after DC left He was caretaker for one game after Garner was sacked and two games later that season after Tisdale was sacked. Pep Guardiola wouldn't have kept us up that season with the squad Garner had built! |

All three were at the club when were not doing so well. Would love to see a list of TWs signings

The fate of the Garner squad post Rovers really is reinforcing the view that we would have been fine that year had Garner carried on. 17th wasn’t it? Funny how they’re almost all non-league now!

Regardless of who plays for them now that’s a fabulous result v Stockport who I thought were going to hammer Aldershot.
The small bit that I saw showed Aldershot looking very lively up front and taking the game to Stockport.
Fair play I say

Can’t believe people are seriously suggesting we should bring back Tommy W.
Gardner and Widdrington laid the groundworks for our relegation. If you didn’t like Barton, you have these two to thank for him being bought in to sort out their mess! And long term, laying the seeds for us having to replace almost our entire coaching staff and director of football position again!

Of course it might not be the same people, but poor old Tommy was rounded on and bid good riddance when he headed for East Anglia. He was booted off the board, Joey (sorry, him again) said they never ever spoke, and many on here were glad to see the back of him. Now he appears to be a great manager and we're full of 'what-ifs' and WYHHBs. It's hard to keep up sometimes. Obviously I like to just go along with what the majority tell me, because I'm a wimp, but it's very confusing. Anyway he's doing very well, especially beating Stockport, and good luck to him. |
