Rovers/Gaschat New Year Resolutions

There’s always one pedant…

My hopes for 2024 are:

That some people can get over the simple fact that the previous manager is not, and never will be, the Messiah.

Matt Taylor gets a minimum of three Manager of the Month awards by the end of the season.

Azza can find his scoring boots.

We get some consistent refereeing, especially at the Mem.

A new keeper that is an upgrade on both Belshaw and Cox.

A new goal scorer that isn’t JCH. Smith from Salford or Al Hamadi from Wimbledon for example.

I’m having my stag do in Manchester to coincide with Wigan away. Celebrating reaching the play offs there will do very nicely.

No more daft predictions of top 6 every season and getting egg on your face

These are not your resolutions, these are your dreams and rules for the forum.

What are you going to do?

Stop judging, stop being annoyed by what a poster does, some resolutions maybe for you.

You all keep on being who you are, some great characters and personalities on here, we all add our bit.

As for me, back to the thread title, less wind ups re Barton and aimed at his supporters club, he was 2023. More positive posting, and building more friendships with Gasheads.

Wishing all Gasheads a Happy New Year and blessed and prosperous 2024 for you all personally and that includes you Dr F.

It's more fun to have a positive outlook. As for egg on my face, it's not really an issue. Being wrong about league positions doesn't make me embarrassed, believe me.

The thread was supposed to be about Resolutions for Rovers/Gaschat, so it's not my dreams as a little Ray of sunshine said elsewhere.

Just read your friend talking about judging others, which seems a little ironic.

Anyway, a happy and healthy New Year to all.

My one resolution is to get through 2024 enjoying the company of my friends and family. Same as every year and it suits me just fine. 💙🏴‍☠️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇸

If I want to judge others that’s up to me, I’m not the one coming on here telling everyone how it should be, I was just giving you some helpful pointers, nothing ironic about this, I am happy to judge you, your post had the wrong title thread, it’s judgemental and full of what you would like the rules to be, I’m judging you, it’s a narcissistic post, being nice, controlling to your agenda though.

And re your resolution, which you openly say is the same every year, what’s this got to do with the forum?

He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice….hes gonna find out he’s naughty not nice. Faustus claus wants to run Gaschat

Good resolution this, not sure I agree but at least you’ve us your aims for 2024 and how you are going interact/plans on the forum this year.
