Off topic but has Jamie McAllister been confirmed yet? Assume he was in the dugout at Wycombe? We are very odd with our comms at times! No official announcement. Our communication is abysmal and has only got worse since the takeover. No preview or report from the two previous games and nothing posted to the official site in 8 days.

MT confirmed his appointment in his last post match interview. And we would probably still have been none the wiser had the local reporter not asked the question having been spotted during the warm up and previously taking training etc. No official announcement or thanks for a good servant in Glenn Whelan, no announcement about the head of goalkeeping department leaving, no announcement about DoF leaving, no report or preview of the past 2 games and nothing posted for 8 days on official site.

Making a long weekend of it for my 29th Birthday.
They’ve not been in a good run of form and if we’re on it I think we could get something out of this.
Could be the final nail in the coffin for their manager if we do get the win mind.

MT confirmed his appointment in his last post match interview. Should have said "officially confirmed" i suppose. I heard the interview, but that is not an announcement of our new Assistant Manager (if indeed that is his title)

So looks like no new players to impact Saturday (unless we do a Connolly 2021 and announce a new CB at 12pm tomorrow!) Bogarde gone, plus "one or two" new issues from Monday. Hope to god, they arent defensive ones. Sinclair to come into squad according to MT.

David Wagner's press conference this morning.
DW on team news: “All good. Everyone is available. There is a few that have played lots of minutes recently, so we have to consider this. Dimi back in training and a high possibility he will start. Josh (Sargent) and Grant (Hanley) will be involved.”
DW: “Lungi will get minutes tomorrow. But he needs minutes in the U21s to build his fitness.”
DW on Sara and Rowe interest: “I love them and love to work with them. We will do this for the next months and hopefully more years. We hope they can do well moving forwards.”
DW: “The squad will not look like it looks like today. Every window you look into the future. I know Ben and his department are working hard towards a successful window. We need to give them time to make decisions.”
DW on players out of contract: “We are in conversation with them, but we keep everything calm. Six months in football is massive, so nobody knows what happens in this time.”
DW on one year in charge: “I said right at the beginning, I love being here and living here. We like to improve and push forward. But there are lots of things in place to bring back the success this football club deserves. We’ve made these first steps.”
DW on FA Cup: “I’m from Germany and the FA Cup is something very special. It’s the oldest competition in world football. I like this competition as it’s traditional. We’ve sold 18,000 tickets up to today.”
DW on Bristol Rovers: “We don’t want a rematch. But if we have to then we take it. I’m really looking forward to the game tomorrow especially as we are at home.”
DW: “It’s up to us to play with the right intensity and energy. We like to win. They are a league below but this won’t be easy, it’s not written in stone.”
DW on setup against Southampton: “This is not our general approach, but it was pleasing to see the players can perform in this setup. Nobody knows what happens in May and what you might need.”

Rowe hadn't even played a first team match until this season and has been amazing. Valued at £20m+ so I'd be surprised if he started.
Left-back Dimi is starting, he's very fast but dodgy positionly when defending.

About 15 years ago didn't we get a reply and get drawn at home against the winners of somebody like championship Swansea v Man U in the next round?
I remember Ian Holtby being interviewed saying all hospitality for the replay was sold out the very next day and we were looking at a sell out.
Man U were on telly on the Monday and got knocked out and our game on the Tuesday got called off so the glory hunters all got refunds. We had about 4000 for the eventual replay and lost. Or did I make it up?
Just got a feeling we could be in the 4th Rd draw against one of the big boys, but with replays it will like being on the never, never.

A lot of Norwich fans want him sacked. Notice he's already mentioning possibility of a replay to try to take pressure off his job.

Let's hope the marketing team are right on it from the B of the bang, when the draw is made if it is a corker. A full house in the replay, with a big push for half year season tickets, SC and Pirate Pots membership and shirt sales if we are potentially traveling to one of the big boys. Alternatively we get Maidstone away!

If shirts were a fiver off, how many could we shift by the replay?

Little useful communication but still we have produced a nice picture of the clubs badges on twitter of something that might never happen. Why not concentrate of what we do know ie a replay that has got a lot of attention and can earn the club a lot of money. What are the 6 Ps - proper planning prevents p*ss poor performance.

Probably half a dozen before we sell out if it's anything like the Macon leisure/training shirts or black goalie top has they've all been sold out for months.
