Not all got where they have season tickets though, which is the main gripe here. A couple from our group will have to be in a different part of the ground and understandably aren't best pleased. I gave up trying to sort tickets last week , shambles. Like i said earlier in the thread I’ll just do Barnsley away instead. Nice one OG 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Hope you have a great day out and bring back the 3 points. Thats the great thing about football, the Norwich game maybe a total $hitshow whereas Barnsley away could be one of the all time greats.

Good result for Rovers as Norwich will now focus on WBA. I would expect them to select much the same team as in the first match but less likely to risk bringing Rowe on as a sub. Hanley might miss the Rovers match as picked up an injury in the first match. That’s a big result for them, especially for Wagner. They are still very much in the play off hunt and that will be their priority. Can’t see them starting their best players now especially with another big game against West Brom next weekend

HILL CITY 1 v 2 NORWICH CITY
In last night's match Norwich were resilient, industrious and clinical. They were outplayed but were able to hang in there, scoring two goals by classy play.
After the game the under-pressure gaffer David Wagner praised his team.
Norwich head coach David Wagner told BBC Radio Norfolk:
"It was a top performance in terms of the work ethic, the togetherness, the fighting spirit.
"We created not a lot, but four or five top opportunities, on a difficult pitch and that we have made the double against Hull is just great.
"If we want to compete for the play-offs, we had to dramatically improve our goals conceded because there were far too many and we had to give them a clear picture and a clear idea of what they had to change and do better.
"Ashley Barnes up front fought like a warrior, for every inch, but this is exactly what you have to do on a pitch like this and in a game like this."

It’s as big a deal for Norwich as it it is for us Liverpool away live on the telly I reckon they will be right up for it but so will we should be a good game I hope Cox is good at stopping penalties this could go to the wire🙏🏻🤞🫣

What footballer wouldn't want to play at Anfield against Liverpool, one the biggest names in the footballing world. We have to use the home advantage and make it as hostile as possible

I reckon we'll be much more up for it than them now they are back in the promotion hunt and we'll win.
Obvs no chance at Anfield but a great day out and £££££'s in for the club.

Let's just hope Taylor's fit as otherwise it's Hoole or Gibbons at CB! I still can't understand why JB let Connolly become cup tied, given that he was never likely to stay at Morecambe in the long term.

What I found odd was when asked in pre-season who he thought would score our first goal of the season, Barton replied ‘Beefy’, which suggested that he had full faith in him at the time as a first team starter. By the end of August he’d been shipped off on loan. It’s a quick amount of time to completely change your mind about someone and made me wonder if there might have been a bit more to it than form.

That's some conclusion! Maybe he'd been scoring from corners every day in training? How many games in August? We brought in Taylor, Friend, Crama, Wilson, plus had covering fullbacks so it's not that odd that the kid went for 1st team experience for a while. You might be right mind!

Thought Connolly looked decent yesterday, didn't put a foot wrong. Its good to have him back. Playing every week the last few months has obviously helped him as well. With MT preferring to play three at the back he will get a lot more opportunities now compared to under Barton who played just the two CB's.

I think you read too much into JB’s comment there. He probably just didn’t want to choose one of his attacking players over the others when that question was chucked at him and could have named any of the defenders in response.

I could be completely wrong. Very probably 😂 it just struck me as a bit odd, that comment, particularly if it was in his mind to loan him out. It’s a mug’s game trying to read Barton’s mind, though 😂

I think Taylor’s assessment in the post match interview was spot on. He did well but we need more from him (he was speaking about McCormick as well). He didn’t make any mistakes as far as I saw either, but as a defensive unit we stood off them far too much. In fairness to all three of the centre backs we put out though, you wouldn’t chose any of them as a big strapping centre back that’s going to get his head on everything and outmuscle a forward. That’s where we really missed Taylor and probably need another CB of his type in the squad.

Well done Rovers for averting the catastrophe. Problem realised then remedied. And by the sounds of it with a personal touch. Social media eh😜 But the problem was only remedied for season ticket holders. Why on earth were season ticket holder allowd to buy more than one ticket? I sincerely hope that should we progress , Anfield tickets will be sold in the usual 3 stages: 1. Season ticket holders (ONE EACH) 2. Supporters club members (and whoeever else is usually in this category) ONE EACH 3. General sale I am pretty sure that if this had been followed for the Norwich replay, all season ticket holders + supporters club members would have got tickets. Big games are rare for the Gas so BRFC really need to get this right.

Sadly I can't make the game on Wednesday. Didn't realise my partner booked herself to see ballet, so I'm on parent duty.
I have a "Poplar Insulation Terrace" ticket if anyone wants it. Face value for a tenner.
I'm not in Bristol so anyone wanting will need to send via paypal and i'll send the ticket over to a chosen email
edit: sold

Anyone could have purchased as many terrace tickets as they wanted as tickets (that weren't reserved for ST Holders) were on general sale.
