Thanks I just tried to subscribe to the monthly plan with free 7 dat trial but it’s requiring an Australian address which doesn’t match my credit card so it won’t complete the card registration. I don’t think the .au email address is needed as I registered a Paramount + account with ,gmail.com but it’s the payment issue. It has to be an Aus address. I’ll ask a friend in Sydney if they can help. Fingers crossed. regards If it's being broadcast live then no doubt one of the "dodgy" streaming sites will also show it in the UK anyway?

Forecast -2c at kick off, -3c at full time. They might start the match but I cannot see if being completed BBC weather forecast is suggesting -3 at kick off, given there's no heat in the pitch once the covers come off you do have to wonder how quick it will freeze. I can't recall us ever playing in such low temperatures at the Mem?

It's farcical in the year 2024 that all clubs don't have undersoil heating. I clearly remember a game postponed at highbury as the terrace was dangerous, but the pitch was perfect. Crazy money spent on transfers, but the basics ignored.

That's got to be a Ref inspection before hand surely? You can't start a game knowing conditions could be like that half way through the game. Unless we're 3 nil down. On the other hand you can't call a game off if the pitch is playable at 7:45pm? What if they did but then it was still playable at 10pm? Although you hope there would be a pitch inspection tomorrow morning and then a further one in the afternoon. Isn't there some sort of 3 hour pre kick off time inspection rule? You've got to consider this is Norwich we're talking about, not exactly just down the road. Plus, isn't it also about fan safety?

Yes all clubs, surely can't be that expensive, and obviously only needs using for a month or two a year, anyone got a clue the actual cost of installation?

Looking at our already backlogged fixtures and the potential prize money & earnings from a Liverpool trip, the club will be doing absolutely everything to make sure it’s on.

The new pitch, so I'm told, cost £250k, to put under soil heating, guessing at £1mil. Think we're pushing the wealth of our new Owner a bit too far.

This Oil Filled Radiator is 64cm x 50cm and retailing at £67.99. According to Football Ground Guide our pitch dimensions are 110m x 73m. So to fully heat the pitch we'd need around 170 of them, that's only £11,558.30! Think smarter.

Heated reptile mats are one of the lowest cost forms of heating.

Just seen all but 1 match in the national league & FGR’s match at Mansfield are called off tonight because of frozen pitches, let’s hope Rovers make a early call tomorrow especially with Norwich fans probably needing to set off early.

They don't install it at lower league level because it's not worth the big investment. It would only be needed about twice a season, especially in the West Country.
