Shame, but things dont work out and 1) he aint a MT type of player and 2) couldnt play with Finley, Need some midfield replacements in now asap!! I thought he looked really good first couple of games - wish him the best of luck 🤞💙 |

Ginger Pirlo for 2 games.
After that he was poor.
He always gave his all though and for that I'm thankful and wish him luck.

Thought we had a really good signing on our hands to be fair, his fortune seemed to change after his red card vs Burton for some reason and he lost his way and his place in the side.
Wish him all the very best though, always gave his best.

First two games wondered why he dropped to div 1 and then boom. I was half expecting his mask to be ripped off and wastebrook was standing there. Forgot about him. What’s he up to now? |

Outrageous claim on the Hull fans forum that he is on a 4 year contract at 30k a week! Surely inaccurate, unless that's what they are offering to get rid of him...

Not surprised or disappointed at all. Clearly a talented player, but never looked like he wanted to be here the last month or two anyway - the home warm ups on his own said it all to me and not the sort of attitude we need.

What Woods did do was offer competition for Findlay and Ward, and perhaps not unsurprisingly both are now playing some of their best football since joining. I suspect Taylor is also smart enough to recognise we paid good money for McCormick and believes he can get him playing well. Similarly Connelly being brought back I hope will mean Taylor gives him a run alongside Taylor as they complimented each other well when securing our promotion.

I doubt LM can replace Woods and Evans never looks as good when played in a deeper role, we still need competition but MT seems to like permanent signings over loanees.

Would expect a new DCM to come in as comp with Ward and Finley. Would also like to see if J.Grant can provide some cover there from the bench.
Luke i would want competing with Evans for the advanced role, good cover there with Collins and Brown also able to play as a 10 in a slight different formation.
Surprised we havent added a LB/LWB yet (on loan?). Striker we are in no rush as have 4 that can play there and all are fit. Need to find the right addition.

Gordon and Friend are apparently "on the grass" so once those two return we've got 3 LB's/LWB's, 4 if you include Grant. MT mentioned that he needs to consider how many first team squad players are really needed. |

Their manager has already said he doesn't see him as part of his plans and that he will have to look for another loan move. So it sounds like it was our decision, or a joint decision. I thought we might have kept him, while his agent talked to other clubs. As we are now 3 midfielders down. |
