I didn't realise it's being shown on ITV1:
Liverpool vs Norwich/Bristol Rovers - 2:30pm, Sunday 28 Jan - ITV1
Could we be one game away from our biggest pay day ever?

Ridiculous really that they could be showing Liverpool ( again 🙄) on national tv against a div one side at home . Great for our fans that can’t get tickets but it’s hardly set up to be an FA cup shock is it ?

I posted earlier this week that there was a good chance it would be shown as the TV audiences seem to love Klopp's Liverpool, I doubt anybody really cares who they are playing against.

Won't get many tickets according to Liverpool website. Fulham took 6,000 with some seats not taken.

Bloody hell, half of you lot are halfway up the m5 already. Me Personally will be amazed if we beat Norwich, they won't be as poor again. As for getting a result at Anfield, more chance of city getting into Europe. I'd love to be wrong but sadly I won't be.

I've watched Harry bassett,I'm sure I could inspire a comfortable win against both teams.

Ward will be a big loss but it's a chance for somebody else to step up in front of a full house on Wednesday.

Liverpools current capacity is 57500 ISH as anfield road stand still being fitted out Somebody said they plan to have that stand fully open by then. But even if not, then based on current capacity that’s still more than 8.5k tickets for us. As for the game being televised on a Sunday afternoon, well it could have been a lot worse. Could have been a Friday night!

For my money they’ve been poor for a long time (hence what feels like the entire fanbase wanting Wagner gone) we imposed our game on them and matched em all over the park, some might say even deserved to go through on the day. A team high on quality but low on morale & seemingly no faith in their leader. Time to bring back the “Squeaky Lee Galatasaray atmosphere” of 2004 and make the Mem red hot for the fragile canaries. All eyes on their game tonight away at Hull.

Norwich are 5 points off the playoffs in the Championship. Their version of a poor season is very different to ours. They should win comfortably. We will have to be at our best and hope they are not having a good day for us to win! It’s a one off game, so let’s hope that happens! UTG

Suppose it all depends on whether their manager and players feel the same way as the majority of their fans do.
Do they really need an extra fixture where they'll probably be embarrassed live on TV?
Norwich's aim is promotion back to the PL where they'll get huge financial rewards for doing so, and they'll get to play Liverpool at least twice by doing so also.
They've also played Liverpool reguarly over the years anyway.
Whereas it's a huge incentive for Rovers as we haven't played Liverpool for over 30 years since the last FA Cup game back in 92, we haven't played a 'Big Boy' for a long time and it's hugely rewarding for a club like ours financially.
