It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, you cannot air brush Barton out of the history of the club. He was appointed manager of the club when 99% of football fans new the man was mentally challenged. But he somehow got us promoted, so not a total failure. |

Sorry for the confusion, you have a strangely similar posting style. Odd the mods seem to be implying you left for other reasons? Anyway why do you have to keep on bringing up JB, can't we all just move on when he's clearly never going to get another job in football. The Mods had no idea why he left. Nor why he chose to come back. Its none of our business. |

Two different seasons, as I posted he somehow got us promoted from L2 despite the issues now coming to the fore, but in L1 he flopped and somehow MT has to deal with so many injury prone players. Perhaps a more rational manager would have kept us up but that's a question we'll never answer. |

He wasn't at his previous club Plymouth for 2 seasons? Although he seems to have soon recovered from his potentially season ending injury if he's already back on the grass. |

There is some of what he says that I agree with. Why did Rovers delete that open letter? It looks like it was deleted after 19 May 22. It does mean that the reason for deletion wasn't Brown. What I don't get is the OP previously suggested he consider Wael a friend, now he's continually criticising every decision he's made. I think it's weird to remove it tbh. You don't change your stance if someone doesn't get convicted. |
