Would be nice with the available players to go 4 at the back tonight for a change I was thinking that myself. At the start of the season the combination play between full back Hunt and winger Thomas was brilliant. Pity was there was no one in the box when they got to the bye line. Maybe a bit off the wall but Big Jon and Martin up front? At least it would put pressure on their defence and then Macca can make late runs and we can have some chances. |

Not going tonight so watching from Sydney Australia -
Desperately need a win tonight and we should truly be getting it against a team truly struggling .... HOWEVER we are usually awful against teams in poor form.
Matt Taylor has to get his starting eleven and game management far better than it was on Saturday ...
Sensing a back three of Connolly / Taylor and Crama ahead of ever present Cox.
Midfield of Macca and Evans with Jack Hunt and Lewis Gordon at RWB and LWB.
Attacking trio of Vale / Thomas and Martin.
Heart screams home win but head says it will be 1-1 with a hatful of chances missed once again and a defensive cock up giving them their goal.

I sense a bit of waning interest among the fanbase? It feels like the club have just given up on this season and enthusiasm has dropped a bit - it has for me anyway. Perhaps I shouldn’t have had such high hopes at the start of the season !!
Hopefully a convincing win in the wind and rain tonight and a couple of signings later in the week will give me the boost I need.
