Adults tickets are a fair price for the going rate (which is too much but that’s not our failt) Children’s tickets are a disgrace when compared with what’s going on across the river. Incredibly short sighted 27k capacity v 12.5k might help to explain that one It was cheaper when we had a smaller capacity so that doesn’t wash.

Really disappointed with the kids prices , thought with the extra capacity they’d do a decent offer to encourage the next generation. Really poor isn’t it? Yep . £49 for a terrace place , £79 South stand with a free scarf chucked in should be the price. I can understand to a point how they want to maximise seat prices in the East & West stands as a kid sitting in an adult seat would lose them a lot of money. It’s pi55 poor and to be honest and really shortsighted.

I'm sorry but that is an absolute disgrace !! Getting rid of family savers and the under 11 category is the biggest failure of a marketing decision we've made in years. We should be encouraging as many kids to come to the games as possible. They are our future FFS. We have already spent years and years losing the majority of bristols kids to the red side. Absolutely shocking from the new owners. Spot on .

Thought in the south stand they might do an adult and child combo deal, to help families. This is where we need a fans director to communicate with the board. If anyone on here does have a direct line to the board then it has to be made clear to the clueless morons that there has to be an under 11 category to encourage as many kids to the mem as we possibly can. They are the future lifeblood of our football club and will take this club forward when all us oldies pass. Shocking. Please someone make this clear to them. It really is incompetence at the highest level.

Too many Saturday games cancelled for children's international football and moved to midweek this season to make it justifiable

£419 for a seat in the south, 100 sheets more than standing on the East getting drenched 80% of the season. That’ll do 🤙🏻

I’m baffled by the decision to price kids out, some kids (like mine) can’t stand for 90 minutes, so need seats. Really not sure what to do but there’s 3 season ticket holders under 12 that won’t be able to go anymore as I will have to go alone as I simply can’t afford the hike in price.

27k capacity v 12.5k might help to explain that one It was cheaper when we had a smaller capacity so that doesn’t wash. I was going to mention capacity but the cheaper with smaller capacity comment really comes into play. Are they assuming that we'll sell a lot more as finance for a team rebuild will be provided.....or so they say. Have they forgotten that recent attendances have been boosted by cheap seats. Would have thought there would have been a family option subject to availability.

Baffling decision to effectively price out the very people we should be aiming to encourage to attend, if the fans directors are reading I'd suggest the board need a rethink and quickly.
I also can't understand the reasoning for 14 & under, surely U16 is normally classed as a child, my daughter turns 15 next month so I now have to fund an U21 ticket for a 15 year old with the family tickets gone, congratulations to whichever genius dreamt up this marketing 'plan'

It really is, shows how out of touch the Club is from the fan base. If the board had young children, they would understand that it's not a cheap day out, my 11 year old has an adult meal and if we get an East stand seat for him to come occasionally its £20, glad he plays for an academy!

It is impossible for multi millionaires to understand the struggles we have as every day people.

I think we all expected this from the new owners. They simply don't understand allowing u14 into see the team play at the lowest price possible is imperative. The just don't get it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for me 360 quid is perfectly fine, but the pricing structure/age bracketing is very bizarre.
Other than hating my kids, I am not sure what incentive I would have to encouraging them to go if they showed any interest

After building some bridges with their open statement the other day they have smashed a sledgehammer straight into that bridge with this decision.
I'm honestly flabbergasted as to who thought it was a good idea to not have young kids tickets for sale at our FAMILY CLUB.
Between me and my mates we have 14 season tickets between us, adults and kids. They have just lost all those 14 in one fell swoop.
Who are these people who own us and when are they going to fu*k off so we can get our club back. Wael you have to step in here and sort this sh** out. You can't be happy with this.
I've spent years dragging my kid down the mem when he wanted to go down the gate with all his mates instead. The pricing structure has allowed me to do this and now we have a gashead for life. How is that going to be achievable in future years for future children when they can go down the gate all season and have a free shirt for £50. Disgraceful.

Shewsbury Town
Season tickets for the 2024/25 campaign are on sale now – and to show our appreciation to our fans for their dedication and loyalty, the club has FROZEN prices until the end of February.
With Paul Hurst back in the dugout, next season promises to be full of entertainment and drama at the Croud Meadow, so book your seat at every home game at the lowest price available.
To buy a season ticket click HERE.
For all adult fans purchasing on or before the 29th of February deadline:
An adult season ticket starts from just £375 - with a total saving of £223 per season or £9.70 per game when paying on match days
Over 65s are priced from £250 - with a total saving of £187 per season or £8.13 per game when paying on match days
19-23s season ticket will start at £225, less than £10 per game
It means adult supporters are effectively attending nine games for free when compared to purchasing a ticket on the day, while over 65s are getting ten games free.
Shrewsbury Town are also delighted to launch a new initiative to encourage more young fans to come and get behind the team.
For the 2024/25 season, we are bringing back FREE season tickets for children under seven in an effort to bring more families to the stadium and inspire Salop fans of the future.
In addition, a season ticket for anyone aged seven to 13 will cost just £15. #heartandsoul
The costs throughout football are likely to rise for the 2024/25 campaign, but as a proud community-focused club we can and always will try to do more for our fans.
Following consultation with our Fan Engagement Panel, the club made it our goal to offer frozen 2023/24 prices for anyone who renews on or before February 29.
Chief executive Liam Dooley said:
“We believe supporters are the most important part of football so despite daily cost increases incurred by the club, we are proud to offer a price freeze until the end of February as well as re-introducing free season tickets for kids.
“We continue our journey to communicate more with fans and this is why we have consulted supporters and strived to introduce our targeted freeze on prices to you.
“We have also extended deadlines for the original early bird ticket until early April to also aid in keeping costs down for fans who may be unable to meet this lowest price offer.
“We are committed to engaging our supporters and inspiring the next generation of young fans to get as many supporters in the Croud Meadow as possible to support Paul Hurst and the team.”
After ‘Frozen February’ finishes, we launch our standard early bird campaign from March 1 with a small increase of £24 for an adult season ticket.
Following consultation with the Fan Engagement Panel, we have managed to extend the deadline for early bird season tickets to April 2. We hope this gives supporters the time and opportunity needed to book their place for next season which promises to be full of excitement.
Our standard early bird season tickets are priced at:
£399 for a standard adult ticket with a total saving of £199 per season or £8.65 per game when paying on match days
Over 65s season tickets start from just £265 with a total saving of £172 per season or almost £7.50 per game when paying on match days
£240 for 19-23s
As we go through the early bird sales, keep a look out for exciting raffle draws for supporters who renew early. Look out for details of the first draw on Monday!
Please note, direct debits will not be available for the February Freeze but will be available from March 3.
For those fans not purchasing a season ticket, we have closely evaluated prices this season throughout League One, and we are going to put a small increase of £1 per game on a standard ticket (aged 14 or over) bought in advance of the match day.
Along with an additional increase of £1 on the day of the game. More details on match day ticket pricing will be announced before the start of the season and after the early bird season ticket period.
Buying a season ticket also guarantees supporters a seat at any important FA Cup or League Cup match – with recent years having seen sell-out crowds and memorable moments at the Croud Meadow.
