Plus 1-0 vs Dover. That's 10 points dropped. You are aware that a game starts at 0-0. It's not as if they give us 3 points as soon as we take the league then deduct the points once we concede! A game is played over 90 minutes. That scenario has happened 5 times out of 33?and the opposite had also happened a similar number f times. I am aware of this. I'm also aware that we threw away a lead twice against an abysmal opponent who were one of the worst teams I've ever seen.

Apologies. I over-reacted. I was in Pre-Buckle mode.
Happy with the point against the relegation bound part-timers.
Still upbeat about our chances of winning the league.
Barnet will lose the next 3, whilst we'll claim 3 victories including Grimsby away.

Dawson should have been on in place of Balanta who has been questionable. We lack the guile to open up and hurt these lowly part-time teams who generally seem fairly comfortable defending against us. Blisset has been disappointing of late and Harrison should have a run of starts. Blisset can hardly be blamed when he has no one crossing the ball in. dawson shoudl have been playing from the start and clarke should have had the balls to drop taylor Drop our top scorer, then where do the goals come from

Play-offs is what we should hope for now. Automatic place is too far out of sight, it would take a major balls up from Barnet and even then you have the likes of Macclesfield and Grimsby sniffling around.

To be fair we were lucky to draw without any other injuries, the pitch was a flipping disgrace! So we're the errors... At least we aren't like Wrexham, clueless manager saying we will still make the playoffs after years of disappointment, 7 points off barnet who are seasoned conference bottlers is still doable and we should expect to win if we only make the playoffs. On a side note, decent assist from Dawson and nice to see Ellis score

Totally agree. We were never good enough to win the league anyway. Play offs would be a realistic goal. We have consistently struggled to score goals against mediocre opposition. No excuses.

I'm not having a go, but NOTHING sticks to Blissett. He needs to work on his control and first touch. so does taylor Taylor has good control, its been his finishing that let him down.

But how can we drop Taylor when he is far ahead of anyone else in the goal stakes -especially lately?
I don't care who we drop, sell or buy right now. But it has to be an improvement... unless we just want to take a wild gamble.

Amazing interview with DC. Rarely heard a manager so openly angry. Hope he didn't force his way onto the team bus, afterwards.

In reality we have not had a decent partner for Matt Taylor all season, Brunt had a few games to no effect, Cunnington was possibly the best, Ellis hasn't quite got it yet, Wall was useless, Blissett has been clumsy but awkward but had his best game AGAINST us, Easter has had 20 minutes, Goldberg was useless too, Balanta has shown very little.
Made some decent signings at the back and in midfield but our forward signings other than Matt Taylor have been poor.

How can you say Goldberg was useless when he probably played less than 60 minutes for us his entire loan period

Very very poor, I've lost confidence in our ability to catch Barnet, and I don't fancy us to win the play-offs

But another goal today, which you used to say was his weakness. Your position lacks integrity. Change the record. Earlier in the season you said that whatever skills he showed, a striker's job was to score goals and he wasn't getting them. Now he's the only one who is, you give him no credit because - vaguely - he's useless in some other way. This seems to suggest to me that you look for reasons to condemn him, rather than actually judging what you see.
I don't care what you think of him, but it doesn't seem to me to be a genuine judgement, just a prejudice.

Stick to Geoffs quest TBone your good at that, this pointless vendetta against our top scorer is really quite tiresome
