During the 1950's and 60's we had a reserve team in the football combination and a colts team in the Western league, I believe. We could recruit local youth players to replicate the colts model with the hope and prospect of them climbing the leagues. Also, some games could be played at the Mem as an incentive to impress. Who knows, some opposition players may want to sign for us as a result.
