Confirmed Squad 24/25

Its quiet and we are less than 2 weeks away from the opener, barring any new arrivals - here is my predicted line up. Some interesting puzzles for MT to solve


3-4-3 formation with wing backs

Griffiths - nailed on starter. 

Moore - Would have him ahead of Wilson. Competent defender and gets the ball moving forward well from what i have seen
Taylor - our best defender. If he is fit he starts
Mola - probably keeps Forbes out to start as natural on the left and can easily slot into LB if we change to a back 4 mid game

Senior - probably ahead of Hunt to start, but 2 solid options at RWB/RB
Conteh - its 2 from 3 for the defensive midfield positions, MT could go experienced for both, but think Conteh edges in.
G.Ward - if he stays fit, he will be super important. Lindsay could easily be first choice for one of these 2 positions, but I think he starts on the bench
Bilongo - the star of pre-season. Probably brought as cover and one for future, but has impressed especially getting forward. May be sacrificed against the better attacking teams, but has earned his start

Hutchinson - with Martin out and Sotiru some way off, we have 5 players vying for the front 3 positions for the opener. Hutch is nailed on as his creativity and dead balls will be required
Sinclair - tough to leave out Thomas, but with Martin missing I think MT goes for Sincs experience. He will be the fittest player in the early games (and the ones at the end) so see him getting 60 in the opener before making way for some impact subs.
Omochere - Our only player that can lead the line, so has to start. Need the others back and one more in for competition for sure. Exciting prospect, needs to work on hold-up play, but think he will cause the cobblers problems!

J.Ward - if not loaned out by then
Hunt - great back up
Forbes - havent seen enough of him yet and MT may go for Wilson instead (or both) but hope he is as good as people say
Lindsay 
Thomas 
McCormick 
Shaw - may be sacrificed for another defender, but deserves his place in and around the match day squad. Hope he gets a chance and doesnt go straight on loan. Can do that in Jan if he hasnt broken in to the team.

I would definitely have Javani Brown on the bench but have to say I think the squad you have selected is a stronger squad than last season especially if you add the injured players plus at least two signings that he will make-hopefully being at least one marque signing.
Based on this i see no reason why we should not push top ten.

Still a few more Incomings - MAYBE one later this week or more likely next ?

Needing a Striker / Winger ideally.

would seem an odd move? Unless Hall going out too.
The point of Hall is he is cheap, can sit on the bench, but as soon as our No1 is injured we can use an emergency loan as he is young and hasnt played. Or recall Jed.
