What a run they are on. Just what you want at this point of the season. Expect them to take 6th off a stuttering Oxford and not good enough Stevenage and then who knows where momentum can take them. Whoever out of Bolton and Derby misses 2nd may regret it big time!
Maybe not an awful time to play them. 11 goals in 2 games, we can hope they've used up a little luck in front of goal and hopefully we can defend better than what i saw of Cambridge! Taylor and Baggott getting some good understanding and form going.
Think we can nick another draw if on form, though at least 1 goal will be needed this time.
I'd give Brown another run. Probably drop Vale for this one and go
Ward Hoole Taylor Baggott Gordon Finley Conteh Evans Brown Martin Sinclair

Win and we’re just 5 points behind them with a game in hand . Gap to playoffs still just 11 points. We’re going up lads !

This week they will be looking at Hoole and Gordon and planning accordingly . Lincoln will tear them both apart.
I would drop them both … bring Crama in on the right and move Vale to Left back.
Jevani to replace Vale further up the pitch .
If he goes with Hoole and Gordon we could get Demolished by half time.
Keep it tight for 60 minutes and it’s game on.

Don't see Brown as a wideman. Either alongside the striker or just behind. To get him and Evans on their game you probably have to revert to 3 5 1 1. Doubt that will happen as we seem to have settled on a 4 2 3 1.

Easy to criticise with your snide comments as always Percy… More fool you if you think Hoole and Gordon are the answer that said … Sure the coaches will be working on their positioning and cutting out of crosses this week.

Have we seen Crama at full back? Vale can fill in at lwb or lb but don't think he is good enough at lb. Just to make someone's day, Grant at lb?

I don't think Hoole and Gordon did that badly? The Fleetwood player who was up against Hoole is a very good player and we know that Broom is a good player as well. Stockley targeted Gordon and he stood up to the task. Plenty to improve on yes, but young lads still learning.

Think that's a bit harsh on both of them, they are both young lads still learning their trade, Gordon particularly can't have played more than 50 games. I think it's easy to say get rid we can do better but with all the players we have either out of contract or returning to their parent clubs I think it would be very difficult to replace them all in one window. Both Hoole & Gordon have the potential to play at this level, if we can do better then great but I'd be looking to keep them both whether that's as a starter on back up remains to be seen but I'd rather we used the remaining games to determine if they are good enough rather than use them to give minutes to players who in all honesty are very unlikely to be here come August

Fully expect Rovers to confound every one , put the brakes on Lincolns charge , and come home with 3 points!.

Weren’t you writing Evans off last season? Hoole and Gordon are young and have ability, the management team need to keep working with them and help them achieve their potential. Worst case scenario they will be good back up for fullback positions next season.

Hi Claremont, Was it you suggesting that we should play Hoole as RB until the end of the season ? I thought he had a decent game v Derby, but poor v Fleetwood. Youngsters inconsistency for you and despite his performance v Fleetwood we didn't concede a goal. Taking these games as a "free hit" to see if some will get new contracts is probably the best option, especially if Hunt remains injured, BUT could be painful for those travelling and paying their hard earned money to watch the Gas away.

Yes I was … I like the guy but he just looks scared and unsure of positioning . I have tried to balance by saying if Taylor wants him he will work with him over the summer and we will see a much better confident player.

Top of L1 form table.
7 wins and 3 draws from their last 10 games. 21 goals scored, just 3 conceded.
Scored 11 and conceded 1 in last 2 games.
Now just 3 points off the play offs.
Could be a tough one.

Nothing wrong with fans thinking certain players are or aren’t good enough. Personally think Gordon isn’t good enough, Hoole hasn’t progressed as hoped . Thought and always did that Evans would come good when many on here doubted him. Think the same about Brown but his needs more energy & urgency to his game . It’s good to be proven right when players you backed come good , even better when players you’ve written off prove you wrong !
