Well it looks like no one wants this so I’ll do it. The season is drifting for us - we’re too inconsistent to push for the playoffs. Lincoln in fine form so we will either take a hammering or win 1-0. My head says the former, my heart the latter so I’ll go with 1-0 and Chris Martin to score. Good luck to all those travelling up there. UTG

Doesn't seem like anybody fancies it so I'll take on my first MDT (blooding myself now with one eye on next season). I'm not up there today, but I did witness super Stuart Campbell almost take the net off all those years ago.
They've not lost in 12 games, we are pestering out to a midtable finish.
Recently been a low scoring affair (except September 22) but probably some goals today.
Optimistic shout for a 2-2 draw with the old timers Sinclair and Martin scoring.

Just waking up on a beautiful sunny morning at the Lincoln premier inn, on a rare away trip for me and looking forward to continuing my 4 year winning streak for away games. Ok, there have only been 2 other games in that time, but at least gives me a glimmer of hope for what looks like being a tough game for us. A nice backs to the wall 1-0 win would do nicely, but I’m sure we’d all take a draw today.

When was the last time in football season there wasn't a league match in Bristol because of fixture allocation?
And next week will be the same.
Bristol has a Ramadan of football so best make the most of this tough tough encounter...
Although we have a trend of breaking habits, I see this as another on the beach flippy floppy sandal wearing handkerchief hat performance and aptitude....I hope I'm wrong.
All we can truly wish for is please no more injuries or discipline....I hope I'm wrong on that too.
So I'll plump for:
A comfortable, possession based defeat.
Evans corners and free kicks hitting the first defender, the shake of the head carry on, oh dear take the next one and repeat. I mean, no one else can try to take them, can they?
2-0 defeat.
A brave call to go for all travelling fans - safe travels and UptheGas!

I’m not totally sure whether were supposed to be playing 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 but whichever it was just seemed to slip into a 4-5-1 that leaves Martin (who doesn’t have pace or mobility among his many talents) very isolated. Against Derby we didn’t have a shot on target until the second half and at Fleetwood it took until the 45th minute. I agree a bit more attacking intent but difficult to get that balance right in a tough away game to a form team. My best hope for today lies in tradition - we do well when least expected and play poop when playing the dross!!! |

Think we could win this one 0-1 Martin to score . Bit unsure about our full backs especially Hoole who lacked pace last game and was easily beaten by winger. Fingers xed he improves if picked
