Is that really the best marketing we can come up with? Blimey, scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
If we are going to cheap shot then better to have done it a week ago when the topic was relevant and we might have shifted a few more tickets which would have had a knock on effect to some good marketing and sponsorship.
Obviously last minute.com. Again. 🤦🏼♂️

Pretty funny, she could have cancer for all the media know, I get the red tops and Daily Mail doing it but god forbid us having to do a minutes silence at the Mem one day and the community trust taking the p**s months or a year before. Why can’t the media just leave them in peace, she works her socks off for Great Britain, it’s clear she is severely unwell. |

Got to say I’m surprised by some of the comments on here… this is clearly a parody taking the p@ss out of the fact that the media are in a frenzy about where Kate is. The individuals are clearly nothing like Wills and Kate just like the video that was released by the Sun yesterday where a body double was used… you can see from the picture that is in the main BBC News article today on it.
Re the gas girl’s, the people who run the team are volunteers and do so outside of their day jobs. The Community Trust run the gas girls and the staff are not paid to support the running of it - they do it after hours and on their days off / non working days so it doesn’t interfere with the fantastic work and projects the Trust supports or the education provision they provide.
Cheap low brow marketing to support a final push for ticket sales? Yes (and if you’d look properly you’d see the Trust and Her Game Too have been promoting this online for weeks ever since it was announced - it’s just the club who haven’t (they do not fund, sponsor or provide any real support for the girls); but dig or insult to the Royal Family and belittling of Kates situation/illness (and no one actually knows what it is as it hasn’t been released so talk of mental health etc is pure speculation by individuals) - definitely not.
People on here I would have thought would know and respect the Community Trust better (especially considering all of the projects and award winning Mental Health support they provide…)

For all the abuse some of us get about abusing Joey Barton, we have seen people this week glorifying in the CEO being sacked and now Kate Middleton being used how is potential seriously ill. The original messed up photo released was because of pressure from the media but the latest polls show the public are behind the royal family. The CT do a fantastic job, but don’t use a good person like this to belittle to sell tickets, I mean would you really go because of this crass marketing?! I think the individual who did this needs to carry on whatever he is doing for the organisation and perhaps go on a marketing/social media course or just keep away from this sort of stuff! |
