As mentioned before for the first time in decades we have not renewed our season tickets. I have no faith in the new owners ( who are they ? Are they even of any financial worth ? - answers on a post card please) and sorry to say I have no faith in the present manager. We were marginally better today but what sticks in your throat is watching an ex player score against you - sell your best players and they come back to **ck you, and sadly that is how I feel. Next season will be pay on the day and I don’t expect to be paying to many visit's. UTFG I share you concerns. Plans for the ground will tell us a lot about new owners. Also Worried about what sort of transfer window we are going to have. Would like to think that George Friend wouldn't have taken a job if there was going to be no money.

An improved performance, much more fight, determination but we never look like scoring. No cutting edge, and you can’t win games if you can’t score.
Happy with the lads effort, didn’t think much of Bolton tbh. UTG

GF probably can't believe his luck, I bet when he told his partner they checked the calendar to make sure it wasn't the 1st April!

McCormick alone wouldn't have been a miss. But when we were missing lots of attacking players, he would have given us a different option. He can run in behind and get around the pitch. A lot of similar players were out at the same time. Lots are injured a lot. But is that Taylor's fault?? Did he sign them? I've not seen McCormick do anything since he signed, although bringing him on the 87th mins hardly gives him a fair chance but the absolutely useless Marquis got 10(?) mins longer. He's just come back from injury hasn't he?? The point I was making, is we haven't had many attacking options. Even if you don't rate him, he still wasn't an option. Martin a side, who isn't mobile. Since the Orient game what decent attacking options did we have??

Did they only have 2 shots at goal? Apart from the two goals their only shot on target was a low drive from the edge of the area straight at Ward in the second half.

The team Monotone Taylor built at the beginning of this season before getting the sack at Rotherham, were pathetic last night, beaten by Argyle and as a result relegated. The same clown in the past six games as BRFC manager as resided over no wins and his team have not scored a single goal. Today he had Jordy Rossiter, arguably the best footballer at the club available, and left him on the bench. I really hope the owners know what they are doing as from what I watched this afternoon, I saw a manager on touch line throughout the match with his arms crossed, no pattern of play, and a honest bunch of players who were generally going through the motions. Does this bode well for the future and can he be aloud to build another squad ? hmm. You can't blame Taylor for the performance of 'his' squad after he's left and also for the performance of Barton's squad now he's here. One or the other but you can't have it both ways. And your continued descriptions of him as monotone are a bit juvenile, but I expect you find it funny.

We've seen some poor performances at home over the past couple of months but today certainly wasn't one of them. We were every bit as good as Bolton but ultimately it cane down to Collins taking the only chance they had from open play and we missed ours. I thought for the majority of the game we looked solid but how many times have we said that, one lapse and from being on top and looking likely to go on & score we're chasing the game. On the positive side I thought Connolly was excellent, much more like the player we saw in league 2 Agreed. When he was bombing forward in the second half, he looked dangerous. When he was defending he dealt with everything. MT said his place is his to lose.

Which begs the question why the hell has MT not played him before today over Baggot and Crama, it's not like he's a Rovers youngster just being given his debut.

Why couldn’t AC finish like that pre-Xmas?

Why couldn’t AC finish like that pre-Xmas? Because the numerous chances he squandered were straight at the keeper , never once did he try to chip a chance.

All those saying it was an improved performance, this was Boltons first away win in seven games! They are pushing for promotion so clearly they are a good team.
