I was at the game, what’s your point? You must have been watching a different game as the performance wasn't bad. Bolton aren't great away from home and they didn't get out of first gear today. The performance was the same as the long line of dross performances since Taylor took over, and yes I did watch today for my sins. We are nowhere near league 1 standard.

The next 3 games will show where we are as they are all against bottom 8 sides, even if we lose all those and fail to score they'll still be posters saying MT needs a transfer window before he's judged!

Correct!. I said a month ago he could fail to win in his last 10 games and still get to the summer. What is clear is the board have changed there objective / target. The previous manager was sacked for not being in the top 8. Taylor have done far worst and casually rides along to British summertime. Crowds are going down and the atmosphere today was flat . Isn't it 2 0 7 in 2024 at home ?.

So how will this season end, 11 games without a goal or win, can any manager really survive such an awful end to a season? No other club would put up with that. Yet some here would still back him. He has totally downed tools if you ask me.

We’ve got to at least give him the summer guysI get it it’s not been acceptable since the turn of the year however not really his players although I grant you his arrival speech basically was “this is a decent squad I’ll work with them to get a tune out of them” That said 6 games without scoring is pathetic. I’m still behind him see what the summer brings. If we are below 15th by turn of the year I’ll agree it’s not looking great and he’ll be in trouble I usually have a similar view and managers need time - I even felt we pulled the trigger a bit early on Garner !! Theres something about MT. I’m not sure why but I just don’t have confidence in him to build a new squad, it’s going to be a massive overhaul in the summer and get it wrong we could end up back in league two. Do we trust him to oversee the rebuild? The owners have a big decision to make and they need to make it early, i.e straight after the season ends. Either back him 100% with a decent budget or quickly appoint someone else. They can’t fanny about like they did after sacking JB.

Did you go to the game today? Yes, was stood on the Thatchers singing the team on. I don’t think you went to the game. If you did, you didn’t watch the same game I did. We were outplayed totally. We’ve not scored a goal since 2nd Match and are in free fall. I’ve been to the last 6 games and it’s been a really tough watch.

Either way we gained 6 points out of a possible 27 points at home in 2024 which says everything. If that's progress then Julian Alsop was a superstar !.

We were absolutely battered today. Yes, there were some sparks of life at the start of the second half, and a couple of players actually decided to press (our Costa Rican loanee mainly). But Bolton never stepped out of first gear and still managed to walk through us at will. For all the carrying the ball forward we tried (mostly Connelly), all we did was run it into trouble. We looked dire. Martin is a sly player but looks knackered. LT one who looks like he actually cares along with Connor and Evo. Sinclair giving it his best but spending more time as a left back. Jevani Brown an absolute masquerade of a footballer. Jed Ward not the answer in goal if we are serious about pushing for the playoffs next season. Conteh, Grimsby got one hell of a deal out of us for him, and if that’s MTs level of signing we will be back in league 2 soon. The most worrying is a number of times seeing the players slagging each other off ‘s**t pass’. For me, we have to cut our losses, get rid of MT now and try to find someone who will actually be able to rebuild this squad.

The scoreboard was moved from Southeast to Southwest. We created chances, didn't score goals. We had 53% posession 13 shots, 6 on target. This isn't a manager issue, this is a player issue. The tactics created the chances, the players weren't clinical enough to put those chances away. First couple of minutes of 2nd half and their keeper makes a worldy of a save.

I hope he uses it well.

I thought he did get a performance out of the team. The forward line let him down by not putting the ball in the back of the net. I thought we played some good football at times. They score from their first shot on target in the 2nd half. That kind of says it all really.

The big question is how big of a budget will he get ?.I mean he's failed the first objective which is to improve on the previous manager . Players performances have gone back. Team selection is all over the place and crowds are dropping. Let's say we only get 3-4 points from a possible 15 align that to our current form. What size budget is a big question .
