I’ll tell you what Peeps. When we score tonight , that’s going to be some roar. Keep your pets inside. The sonic boom will probably trigger tsunami warnings on the East Coast of the US. 2 nil Gas, spoil yourselves ppl you deserve it.

God i have seen some home losses this season. So you'll all be glad to know I aint there tonight and cant watch on iFollow. Guaranteed we'll be a hatfull!
Hope all the nonsense yesterday brings the team together a bit and we give em a really good go.
Thomas and Evans to score in a feisty 2-1 win. (please!)

Having just gone past the mem this morning, the wind in BS7 is not conducive to free flowing football.
Makes you wish we had a stadium that went all around the pitch!
2-1 gas. All horrible Sunday league goals.

Bristol Rovers Nil v Reading. I’ll be an optimist and go for a 0-0 draw.

Just score a goal would be good, a draw is optimistic and a win ….. no, never gonna happen 🙄 UTFG

Can’t see us winning tonight but maybe a (fairly) entertaining score draw 1-1

The Gas against The Royals.
Some supporters will have fond memories of the 1998/99 season.
At HOME in August 1998 we won 4-1. Both JC and JR scored once.
AWAY in January 1999 we won 6-0.
JC scored 4 goals and JR scored twice.
Both these players subsequently played for Reading and are frequently invited to play for Reading legends teams.
Jamie had his very best goal scoring spell in his first season at Reading after his transfer for £200k.
In the 2000/01 season Jamie scored 31 goals; one for us and 30 for Reading.
Jason ended his career playing for Reading in the Premier league. His last goal in professional football was in a cup match against Arsenal in October 2012.
Jason scored in the 12th minute to put Reading in front. After extra time the away side, Arsenal, won 7-5.
These type of high scoring games are a rarity. A Bristol Rovers victory in recent decades is also unusual against our M4 friends.
So. Rovers to win 1-0 tonight. An own goal, a fortunate penalty or a diverted shot will do.
Will JC and/or JR be there tonight? If they do attend it will be to support the team who play in blue and white.

I wouldn’t have Wilson anywhere near the ground …
Would like to see a flat back four - won’t happen I know.
Hopefully Vale is back and maybe Jack Hunt too.
Need Brandon in an attacking role - surely that’s not difficult to accommodate?
Hoping for a win expecting a 0-1 though.

Combination of living in Yorkshire and work means we don’t get to many Gas games. Only game so far this season was away at Barnsley. School holidays plus visiting my Mum gives us the opportunity to go today, and I must admit I’m a bit wary. My son told me last night before he went to bed that he is really excited about going to the game. We’ve spoken about the goal drought, possibility of crowd turning etc. Still, can’t argue at £20 total for both of us to sit in the South Stand. Praying for a good performance and a good atmosphere.

Can just imagine the chant, if we do actually manage to put the ball in the net. "We`ve scored a goal...we`ve scored a goal...how s**t must you be...we`ve scored a goal."

Really like Femi Azeez and Lewis Wing for Reading so will be keeping a close eye on them tonight...as will our team hopefully. Sam Smith an obvious dangerman too. Hopefully we can end this abysmal goalscoring run we are on and I'm predicting a hard fought 1-1.
