Equally embarrassing is how this HR response is leaked. How is "not sure if" and "maybe" a leak? Sounds like guesswork to me. People talk, cant really stop that and people love posting what they have heard. Not sure BRFC can be blamed this time (yet?!) No Guesswork needed, it is fact. People saw it, action has been taken only a matter of time until all the facts come out. |

I would agree, but the post I quoted unequivocally stated it is true, as have others. My point remains I presume that he meant the headbutting incident was true. As it took place at an open venue, I'm sure that there were plenty of people to "leak" the story, not connected to the club. No I get that Tilly. What I am questioning is the reports that he has been sacked or suspended. As you say it was an open venue. Given that and the fact that the "event" appears to be true, you would have thought the club would be all over handling the PR on this. Have they learned nothing from the farce of the last couple of years? |

We are pretty much on the same square. My despair is the obvious fact that the club are not out in front of handling the PR on this. Accusations are being made of a senior employee physically assaulting someone at a club event, this needs handling. |

How the hell do you handle the PR of a senior member of the coaching staff headbutting somebody, particularly if it's still under investigation and could lead to dismissal and also possibly a criminal prosecution? |

I actually feel sorry for MT. What a job he's got trying to sort all this mess out over the summer. I'm sure he will try and just get abuse from many for his efforts. Admittedly McA situation, if true, is partly down to him as he appointed him. The ghost of Barton seems to hover over this club.

That's the point about the club getting in front of this. It does beg a question about drinking culture and professional behaviour by well paid employees. If all this is true. |

I did feel sorry for him at First, but the more I hear the more frustrated I am getting with him! He is a terrible man manager and it looks like an even worst Manager who is, I am afraid a little out of his depth as Owners and Staff around him don't really know what they are doing and all very new to this Football club, Fan base and industry!! I worry for the future, but if he goes who the the hell else is going to turn this Ship around? P.T Barnum! |
