What we need to remember is that although Rovers is OUR club, between us WE don’t contribute anywhere near enough to keep it afloat. We are, and always have been, reliant on benefactors. If I were a club owner spunking a few million pounds a year I would expect to be able to have a significant input into the way it’s run, and wouldn’t think it unreasonable to ask the people I am keeping the club alive for to help out a little bit.
I’m not saying they should be immune from criticism, but there is a bigger picture here.

Netflix missed a trick not filming this circus Thank God, they didn`t. I have to put up with enough ridicule from City fans at work, as it is. A reality TV football version of The Office and Fawlty Towers. I can see the reviews in my head already. "Toe-curlingly brilliant" says the Daily Star, "A masterpiece" says The Daily Sport.

I've just looked at Shrewsbury Town website and the price for a similar s/t is £460 whereas mine is now £549 w/o the early bird discount plus £15 if I wanted a season ticket card.

With no supporters, you can say what you want, which is dichotomy in itself as clubs current owners "whoever they are" do not speak to the supporters unless in its in their interest to do so.

Not a media expert, but I would have thought the best course of action now would be for the club to apologise for the statement (Wael has already done this to someone on Facebook) reiterate the clubs commitment to inclusion for all supporters and perhaps as a good will gesture offer physical cards to supporters who require them at no additional charge for this season, stating next season information will be released at the time season tickets are available to buy. Alternatively, go on X and blame the supporters club.

I took a hammering on here from a poster a few weeks back for the “odd” criticism of TG replying to emails but not offering adequate communications to supporters.
Well here you go. This is why it’s a problem and not the professionally done thing.

This is why it’s a problem and not the professionally done thing. It does feel a little, well 'naive' that a response to the supporters club was a response to the sender of the email, rather than a response to the supporters club members.

What part of the ground is £549? that will be the seats in the south with a restricted view of pitch. Will be a prime spot next season

What part of the ground is £549? The East Stand, I assume the West Stand would also be the same price if any tickets were still available.

What are you trying to prove, block 16 is the only one of the seven West Stand blocks over £460 as its the centre block, the rest are all £460.

I would have to pay well over 500.00 if it wasn't for the early bird price. That is in the west stand seating.
