Pinch of salt re interviews, but nice to read nonetheless... "Central to the move has been talks with manager Matt Taylor and Director of Football George Friend, both of whom told Hutchinson of the Club’s plans, strategy, aspirations, and how he will fit into the system in the new campaign. Hutchinson says those conversations only helped to further convince him that the move to Rovers was the perfect fit. “The talks have been really good. The manager and George have been really clear with me about what they want to see from me as a player, and how I will fit into the team and the Club. The manager has made it clear on how he wants the team to play as well, and it was all refreshing to hear. It made me want to join Bristol Rovers even more." That can't be right, doesn't fit the narrative. |

Looks like the perfect replacement for Evans if he leaves. Can't really see us having both in the squad. It doesn't happen very often, but I think we probably all agree, this looks like a good signing. How many times has it been said it looks like a good signing and its turned out its been a bad signing |

How many times has it been said it looks like a good signing and its turned out its been a bad signing Zane Westbrooke springs to mind, although IH's stats are far better. I guess a lot of it is down to the player having the desire to succeed once they've signed for us, and also keeping fairly injury free. |

Actually signing players is the bigger issue with the way we now seem to mess about as a club. |

Anyone else think he has the potential to be a superb Centre Forward? Natural finisher, nice height & hold up play looks excellent…… I’d be looking to transition him to a shadow striker just off a pacy number nine. |

I’ve no idea if he’s AEs replacement but if he is well done the club.
It usually takes a season or more to replace our best players when sold. Still waiting for Rickie L’s replacement!
I’m looking forward to seeing Aaron C’s replacement. So many sold and not replaced so perhaps the club is learning.

Just a shame we could not convince Walsall to take Brown as part of the deal. We should have tried harder. Maybe offered Walsall another £100,000, if they agreed to take Brown. |
