Not sure if this a joke or not given JB signed Wilson last summer. These just don’t seem to be JB type players. They are mostly failures. My friends at the City have been laughing at us all day and putting money on us to go down. They reckon at least when Barton wa s here he didn’t sign soft touches. The City will not let us rest when we root through their turd nuggets. Wilson, Hunt & Ward hardly lasted more than a few games before picking up an injury and Rossiter hardly played any games. If City fans are laughing that probably means they are getting a bit nervous we might be making some progress to close the gap.

Great to see these new recruits being brought in. When Barton was recruited, I made the choice, along with my wife to return our season tickets. I have now purchased my new season ticket and look forward to returning to the Mem to physically support the fine club that I have worshipped since 1952. UTG I returned mine and only went to the Mem to watch my son who was working (not playing) for another team. I haven't been back even though Barton has gone for lots of reasons the main one is recovering from cancer. Whilst I'm here can I implore every male over 50 to go for a prostate examination/blood test. I had no symptoms but had I left it any longer I probably would never have had the chance to watch Rovers again. I was very lucky .....others may not be. Best wishes for a return to good health, I know that it can be a long road back, take your time. Very good advice given too - I must confess that I dismissed the signs for about 7 months, so am extremely lucky to be here - ladies take note too!

Well, I didn't want to say it out loud... But from where I'm sat we've signed about 200 defenders (and a forward)! And I'm pretty sure we need a bit variety in an XI haha! It's not like the club have announced they've finished signing players this summer, for once at Rovers there seems to be a plan. For sure. Slightly tongue in cheek there 😋 like I said - we've yet to hear about a couple, and still have a few in contract. And for as many goals as we shipped last season - I'm definitely in support of bolstering the back line!

The ones I’ve spoken to have said how good he was for them and that they’re surprised that he’s signed for us ?

Fortunately I’ve converted my wife ( she’s Bournemouth born and bred ) to the Gas and my two kids have Been gasheads since the day they were born ! Trying to even the balance in the family 😂

UTG That's a shame you missed the latest promotion and watching arguably the best player to ever wear the quarters since the 70s. No need to have worried while you were away the actual number of season tickets purchased went up, unfortunately I have been lead to believe not so many purchased this season. Ever cloud though. In MMT we trust.

Szmodics reacts to the transfer
Blackburn star Szmodics played with Moore during his brief spell at Bristol City during the 2019/20 campaign.
He made just four appearances for the Robins and failed to score a goal for the club before he joined Peterborough United in 2020. The 28-year-old later moved to Blackburn, where he won the Golden Boot in the Championship last season.
Szmodics showed support for the rivals of his former club when he posted Moore on his Instagram story, after the defender had shared the news of his move on social media.
He wrote:
"Up the gas
Love it mate
@taylord_moore"
It seems as though Szmodics did not buy into the rivalry during his short time at Ashton Gate.

What rivalry. Do love how it’s wound them all up though

The ones I have spoken too are surprised he had signed for us. Very good, plays it on the ground, wouldn’t suit our woosh style, were the comments, seem to think he was doing well at the 💩but took a lot of criticism after a couple of defeats and it seemed to affect his confidence and was never the same again.

Do you really think they will give you an objective view of BRFC signings? 🤔 Just make a judgement on them once they start playing and say what you think, don’t worry about getting permission from that lot. UTG!
