What free stuff have you actually received from the app? My feedback was that they are a bunch of chancers, the way that they had 'Free Beer' on t shirts at a home game really watered me off. It couldn't actually be used at the ground, was for something like Carling and you had to go to a pub well out of the way to redeem. It just felt like dirty tactics. Never tried to get the free beer so I can't speak to that. I got a free shirt, ticket to Peterborough, and a bunch of my mates did the play at the Mem match. Was it a Rovers shirt or a FanbHub shirt?

I really enjoy the app since it started last season. It's free and fun rewards like free tickets, gear, and they had the play at the mem at the end of the season. Even better the owner is a gashead. Awesome to have them as them as the shirt sponsor. What free stuff have you actually received from the app? Dirty tactics may be a little excessive, but understand the frustration that the free beer was only at other pubs. Fortunately through this partnership weβll also enable you to redeem your FanHub Points for free Gas merch ππ»

And thanks to all for your kind words, obviously this is a massive day for us at FanHub - myself particularly!!
As someone asked there are 3 founders, Iβm Gas obviously.. the other two are Derby County & Middlesbrough fans.

Buzzing with this news. Been on FanHub for a couple of seasons and I've had a fair few free beers (redeemable at the Oak) and best of all got to play on the hallowed turf at the mem at the end of last season!
Looking forward to see what rewards get added to the app with this partnership

So how does a free app make money to sponsor Rovers, I assume by selling fans personal details to advertisers? .

I actually understand the tendency to expect the worst, as the sports industry in general has been geared up towards mistreating fans for some time. Changing that is the inspiration behind this whole project, though.

Anyone any idea what rewards you can earn from your loyalty (and how Fan Hub make money) ? I had a free ticket for two separate games in the south stand at the back end of last season using my unspent points. Absolute bargain! Wasnt interested in the clothes and beer etc but I was rewarded for my loyalty in the end π

But, you are presumably paying BRFC for your shirt sponsorship and giving away free tickets, beer and BRFC merchandise, so perhaps you could answer @topper Gas's question and advise where you get your income from ?

When they do it is usually down to advertising revenue. Not sure why the conspiracy questions on this one π€·π½ββοΈ

I was an early adopter of FanHub and I am enjoying watching it grow. Over the last few seasons I have racked up a few rewards.. a couple of bobble hats (which one of my son's nabbed ) and countless free beers. I quite enjoy the line-up predictor and the "Fives" (guessing results for 5 games) competitions. Useful tracker for attended games (miles covered, stadiums visited etc) broken down per season.. and the ability to upload pictures to each fixture. Looking forward to seeing what the partnership with Rovers opens up in terms of rewards - a few of my mates redeemed some of their reward token things (FanFi) to play an 11-a-side game at the Mem! If FanFi can eventually be redeemed in the club shop (or at the ground on matchday?) in some capacity then the app really is rewarding fans just for supporting their club. Exciting stuff! Well done to fanboy - seeing your very own brand on the front of the shirt of the club you support must fill you with immense pride! #UTG

Did Goldilocks nick yer porridge this morning after you fell out of the bed the wrong side? Nothing like congratulations for a fellow Gashead that was nothing like etc. Bloody hell, are you a mind reader? I had an absolute nightmare with my porridge this morning. It fell off the side while I was preparing it, scolded my foot. It went all down my trousers and all over my daughters dolls house. The dog had helped a little but I felt he could have done better under the circumstances. I certainly congratulate the entrepreneurial spirit, however my experience of the product has been a bit 'Meh'. Were you in the fan zone when they sent people with t-shirts and signs saying "Free Beer"?

So you weren't allowed to pay Rovers for the beers that you could have given away due to Rovers not letting you. However, Rovers were more than happy for you to potentially send fans from the fanzone down to the Royal Oak? When did the Royal Oak come on board as a pub that the rewards could be used in, when that offer was on i'm sure there was a choice of only about three pubs and the Royal Oak wasn't one of them. It was also for a certain beer (Carling?) rather than a beer of your choice.
