I would have liked to go to this one as it's one of my nearer games but I'm on the way to Shetland.
Missing out on the Sheff Wed keeper to Rotherham was a big disappointment so it will be interesting to see how he performs today.
Obviously a very tough game, Rotherham have brought in a lot of players that, on paper, make them one of the strong favourites for promotion but...like us they need time to gel, they lost their first game so there will be pressure on them to perform in their first home game and we have Chris Martin back.
So I am going for an optimistic 1-1 draw.

Steve Evans teams are always very direct, as were Northampton but I think our central defenders are strong this season so that shouldn't be a major problem. Midfield for Rovers has not yet gelled so maybe today is the day for them to come together. I'm cautiously optimistic that we will sneak a 1-0 win. |

Safe journey to everyone travelling up north,I'm making the shorter trip to Bath v Welling at sunny twerton.
Glad to see Martin back and hopefully sharp.
Be happy to take a point, three would be fantastic,and millwall to win at the gate.

Deep down I’m expecting to lose this, Rotherham are one of the league favourites and we are away. I think we are capable of a draw today which I would snap your hands off for.

I had one of my biggest betting 3 - 1 wins at Rotherham about 10 - 12 years ago?
I had £15 @ 50 - 1, £765 smackers back!
Hoping for similar today but it’s only 33 - 1 😁

Tough tough game you would expect today.
But it’s the start of the season and anything can happen.
A couple of goal scorers for the gas today and at least a point would be very nice. UTG

I’m not expecting much today. I think we’ll sit deep with a flat back five and hope to hold on for a point. I’ll be keeping an eye on the game via Twitter whilst watching Downend CC trying to inch closer to winning the league.

Horrible, scrappy 1-0 win please. Another clean sheet is perhaps more important than a goal, so I'll settle for 0-0. I'm interested to see what our front line formation is with everyone fit and available.

This is going to be one of the toughest tests of the season. Rotherham had 27 shots and 10 on target against Crewe on Tuesday night.
Rotherham will finish top six and could easily be challenging for the top 2 come May.
I'd be delighted to come away from this one with a point.

Anyone can beat anyone on their day, we need to pose more of a threat and I hope we play 2 up top
Promise has looked ok so far but would benefit from players around him
I feel MT has addressed our weaknesses (far too soft at the back last season) but have we got the firepower to win us games?
I reckon good time to play them, nervy home crowd, noisy away following, keep them at bay for an hour then bring on the cavalry after 60 to sneak a 1-0 win

Rotherham buying their way to success which as usual will be one season only … Just go compete boys and you never know .
Expecting nothing so anything is a bonus.
