Mildenhall 6 as usual not a lot to do,handling was much better Leadbitter 6 did his defensive job,got forward Parkes 7 another good solid display McChrystal 7 same as above Brown 7 Great free kick, unlucky with another and defended well Monkhouse 5 ok,couldn't really get going with Brown in the final third, credit Lincoln for that Mansell 5 worked hard but not at his best, still put in some good defensive tackles Lockyer 6 much better than last week, but little goal threat or guile, not his fault he is a defender Dawson 7 good game, gave us a good outlet on the right and worked back well Blissett 5 scored but seemed off the pace of the game Taylor 6 the enigma that is Matty Taylor, played well, and linked up well for the assist with Bliss, but should of scored a hat trick
Subs Harrison almost got in for a good chance, but not really on long enough to mark Gosling not on long enough Balanta Ditto
DC 7 if the team had stuck away a few more of our chances,we could of had our biggest win,so well done Ref 5 not the worst, not the best
Lincoln 4 very average

Mildenhall 6 Did fine. Even rolled the ball out once !!
Leadbitter 7 Good game. Determined, pacy and was solid defensively McChrystal 8 Superb game. No mistakes Parkes 7 Generally v.good , a bit wasteful with the ball Brown 7 Very good goal, nearly another but wasteful with the ball (1st Half)
Dawson 8 Excellent. Quick, good use of the ball and tricky Mansell 7 Solid, composed , a bit wasteful Lockyer 6 solid. I so so wish he could realise that he doesn't need to hit every ball coming to him first time !! Monkhouse 6 Slowed play down unnecessarily, but kept possession well
Taylor 9 Absolutely brilliant today - pace, determination , great touch but somehow didn't score. Best I have seen him play this season. Blissett 6 Mixed bag, some good some not so good. First touch lets him down sometimes
DC 7 Glad he played Dawson from the off (why didn't this happen 2 games ago) , Subs came on too late - what was the point ? Ref 5 Missed a few clear fouls and handballs Lincoln 5 Tried to play it on the deck but were totally outplayed especially first half

Mildenhall 7 Never seriously troubled
Leadbitter 7 Good game got forward when he could. McChrystal 7 Usual solid game. Parkes 8 Totally dominant. Brown 7.5 Steady game, great free kick & unlucky not to have another goal.
Dawson 8 Looks a class act. ( reminds me of a young Danny murphy) Mansell 6.5 Battled well Lockyer 6 Played better than i thought he would. Monkhouse 6.5 Put in his usual hard working shift
Taylor 7.5 On another day he could easily have had a hat trick. Blissett 6 Worked hard and scored a goal.
DC 8 Well done DC, one of our most dominant performances of the season.. Ref 7 Better than usual. Lincoln 3 You can see why they have conceded a lot of goals on the road. Truly woeful.
We played some good stuff today and really should have scored a few more goals against a very poor lincoln side. If i was DC i would be trying to get Dawson's loan extended until the end of the season, as he is quality and is just what we have been missing. He needs to start every game now IMO.

Mildenhall 6 nothing to do
Leadbitter 6 done all that was asked of him, Parkes 7 took a few knocks but generally a decent effort McCrystal 7 didn't put a foot or head wrong Brown 7 great free kick for his goal, and another that hit the post.Sound in defence
Dawson 8 A very good home debut, hould have made more of his crosses. Mansell 6 did his job,as usual Lockyer 6 as with Mansel, his passing was o.k. today. Monkhouse 6 decent enough.
Blissett 5 strange performance, still to see the best of him. Taylor 2 1 for turning up and one for the assist. His finishing was nothing short of woeful.Once again.

Mildenhall 6 Leadbitter 7 McChrystal 8 MOM. Parkes 7.5 Brown 7 Dawson 7.5 Mansell 6 Lockyer 5 Monkhouse 6.5 Blissett 6 Taylor 5. Mainly for his effort, missed two absolute sitters.
DC 7. Felt he could have made substitutions earlier, after all we never looked like conceding. Ref.7. Very good performance, not fooled by Taylors continual falling to the ground under the slightest challenge. Lincoln. 5. Kept trying to attack throughout after going behind, but toothless up front apart from no.15.

Mildenhall 6 not troubled Leadbitter 7 stifled their left side whilst getting forward well himself Brown 8 great strikes, linked well with Bob, put in some good crosses oh, and did his day job too! Parkes 7 commanding performance McChrystal 9 blemish less performance, Lincoln played into his hands yes but he delivered the defensive goods Dawson 8.5 the main reason we started strongly, excellent dead ball delivery, quick feet Lockyer 7 mr dependable on one of his better passing days. Mansell 7.5 gritty and committed in the engine room. Monkhouse 6 quietly effective on the left but put in the shade by Dawson's exploits down the right. Blissett 7 Lincoln were probably relieved they did not have to face Easter but our front two never gave them a moments peace! Was as awkward a b*gger to deal with as Devon White used to be at his best. Taylor 8 fulcrum of our attacking display, instant control and good awareness of when to time his pass, flick ons to Bliss and Daws worked well. Both he and Bliss could have hat tricks with a bit more luck AND trust in th fact that Daws will get the cross over...but it is a minor quibble that they did not gamble enough/ anticipate the cross - this was a good day for the forward unit.
Harrison, Gosling, Balanta - three late subs made primarily so we could clap the three replaced off I presume and to make sure it was a full load for the kit wash! DC 7 forced into 442 by Easter's unavailability he suggested on radio that we'd test them down the flanks and we did. He never saw a need to tinker with the plan this week and was rewarded by a consistent performance by all eleven starters. Crowd 7 plenty to cheer and sing although it felt odd putting away all the blue and white references at a home game! Ref 3 - it seems the pages about pushing, handball and bookable offences are all stuck together in his copy of the laws of the game! Lincoln 2 - deserved a 3 but lost a point because their kitman is an utter . Could have been three down in ten mins and apart from one ot two decent moves they seemed to have left most of their footballing prowess at home. Grateful we did not see the team that spanked Barnet and instead saw the one that has delivered several consecutive away shockers!

Mildenhall 5.5 - never troubled
Leadbitter 6 - One of his better games both in defence and going forward, links up well with Dawson McChrystal 7 - Solid except one scary moment at the end of game Parkes 7.5 - Again solid performance Brown 6 - Great free kick and had a good game
Dawson 7 - Very good first game, Mansell 6 - Solid game, tackled well, passing could have been better at times Lockyer 5.5 - Better game and done a job, not a midfield player. Monkhouse 6 - Steady game links well with Brown at times
Blissett 5 - Wish he would put himself about a bit more but had a reasonable game first touch could be a lot better Taylor 8 - Again done everything but score, you must give credit to Lincolns keeper for his saves.
Subs not on long enough , DC As in other posts Back Him
Ref 6 - actually one of the better ones, still made some strange decisions though
Lincoln 3 - they were rubbish, expected better

That's if no one else takes him, it will be hard to keep hold of him if he plays like that every week. Agree with the fact he's alot more versatile than LDV, and I'm sure we've not seen the best of him yet. He's not played for 6 weeks, his last game was for Nuneaton on New Years day, and he had 10 minuets last week at dartford, which he assisted Harrison's goal. So imagine what he could be like with a run of games. He could of had 3 assists yesterday if we was more clinical in front of goal. So no doubt he's that effective winger we have been missing. I just hope we can keep hold of him as his loan is up after the game on Saturday? I still can't understand why he never played at Woking or started at Dartford or at least come on for Balanta. Maybe injured or another reason I'm not sure, quite confused if im honest.

Spreadsheet complete and a good set of stats this week. Adam Dawson is the Man of the Match for the Lincoln game, becoming the 14th player to win an award this season.
Like Della Verde he scored a MotM award in his first start for the club after one previous substitute appearance.
Tom Lockyer is averaging more in CM than Ollie Clarke has this season, 5.2 to 5.1. (albeit only two games to judge this)
Lincoln were judged to be the second worst team to visit the Mem this season. Their score of 3.9 was only better than Telford (3.6).
Matty Taylor scored both a 2 and a 9, probably the biggest range of scores for one player in a match this season.
Mildenhall 5.9
Leadbitter 6.5 McChrystal 7.5 Parkes 7.5 Brown 7.0
Dawson 7.9 Mansell 6.1 Lockyer 5.9 Monkhouse 5.8
Taylor 6.8 Blissett 5.5
DC 6.9 Ref 5.4 Lincoln 3.9
Thanks to everyone who provides opinions on the game.

I would respectfully suggest that if 1 poster is intent on ruining this thread with ridiculously low scores against a player he has a problem with (regardless of performance) then you might consider ignoring the highest and lowest score to get a better average for that player. Otherwise I will just score MT a 10 every week to compensate.

If Tbone thinks that MT has had a bad game I'm interested to hear his viewpoint. For example I really don't rate Leadbitter when I've seen him but I don't demand that everybody who gives him a high score should have their opinion disqualified.

Its a tricky one. I don't want to edit anyone's figures as that defeats the point of the collective ratings. However, I don't want people to compensate a low score by giving an unfairly high one. Previously whenever tbonegas has scored Taylor poorly, he's either not been alone in his criticism (against Gateshead lamby457 also gave Taylor a 2) or marked other players just as poorly (against Torquay he gave Taylor, Clarke and Leadbitter all 3's). The recent score does stick out as perhaps unfair, but sat here behind a laptop, away from the games I can't judge. Ultimately, tbone has given 3 ratings all season and if I was to remove his ratings, Taylor's season ranking would only change by one place (he'd move from 10th to 9th above Puddy, but they are really close either way). For now, I'm happy to leave the score as it is, although I may edit in the future. Lastly, these threads are a simple aggregate of opinion, meant to balance the different tints we all see Rovers through and find some common agreements between supporters. I provide some stats over the season, but for detailed analysis of players read stevek192's reports or the consistent ratings and comments of meadgas.
