UNLIKELY TO BE:
Bristol Rovers vs Weston Super Mare
This is primarily based on the pattern of live broadcasts last season. If the draw had WSM at Home it would probably have been a Friday or Saturday game.
" ***** The BBC and ITV live broadcast selections for the 2023-24 Emirates FA Cup first round proper.
FRIDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2023 • Sheppey United v Walsall on ITV4 and ITVX
SATURDAY 4 NOVEMBER 2023 • Bromley v Blackpool on BBC Two, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport
SUNDAY 5 NOVEMBER 2023 • Chesterfield v Portsmouth on ITV1, UTV, STV and ITVX.
• Crewe Alexandra v Derby County on ITVX.
• Charlton Athletic v Cray Valley on BBC Two, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport. ******"

With our record against non league sides I would have thought the cameras would have been all over this fixture. Nailed on Cup shock material

With our record against non league sides I would have thought the cameras would have been all over this fixture. Nailed on Cup shock material I agree, but I doubt they actually look into the history enough when deciding. Or if they do, they decide no one cares - because the reality is that headlines of teams playing is what draws viewers in. Our only hope is because Charlton had a similar fixture last season in TV, but they’re much more of a draw than we are. I reckon we’ll get additional highlights or something but that’ll be it

I'll predict:
Worthing v Morecambe - Worthing have been in the news recently, there is a good story regarding their owner who purchased the club out of compensation he recieved in an accident. Decent chance of an upset too as Morecambe are terrible.
Tamworth v Huddersfield - Classic Non-League at home v one of the biggest teams in the draw
Milton Keynes v AFC Wimbledon - Feel like this has less appeal now they play eachother every season, but still think it'll be selected
Southend v Charlton - Not a million miles away from eachother, former league club fallen on hard times against one of the bigger teams in the draw
Sutton v Birmingham - Classic Non-League at home v one of the biggest teams in the draw

I'm sure they will find a reason to put Wrexham on

I'm sure they will find a reason to put Wrexham on Or Salford! They are at home to Shrewsbury. They like to put them on, when ever they play a side in a higher division.

According to the other site, eight games selected, ours isn't one of them.

I'm sure they will find a reason to put Wrexham on The reason being of course is that people are interested in them, and Salford too. And they are interesting tales of rags to relative riches, whether one likes it or not. There's no conspiracy to keep us off the screen.

Chuck a documentary on about JB's last couple of years and I reckon it would get a decent audience

Doubt we will attract 3500 to the Mem with so many home matches coming up 5bout our next five out of our six matches are at home.
Exeter fixture may only attract 500 as no chance of qualifying to next stage after the 4 0 hammering at Swindon.

Numbers in brackets represent the number of clubs receiving the respective payment per round. Why does there need to be a prize fund? The amounts are chicken feed for the big clubs who are going to make up the entire composition of the later rounds most likely, yet it’s big money to the small clubs who need it most. The FA should be focusing on the financial health of the game as a whole not rewarding big clubs with money they will barely notice. The money should be spent on grass roots, improving facilities in villages, towns and cities all over the country to increase opportunities to play in all weathers and provide better spectator comfort too.
