2nd best start to a league campaign points wise since 2000? Possibly , it’s certainly not a bad start to the season is it ? Up The Gas , faithful and true.

Pretty fortunate. Marquis stood offside, but was he really in Griffith's eyeline?
Who cares? Three scrappy points and we're looking at the play offs again Play offs? Two very poor side battling out for maximum points. Thankfully it was the gas that got them but could have gone either way. We move. Hence the smiley.
We've been underwhelming all season...BUT...we climbed 3 places and are only 3 points off the play offs. Where's Rich with his bus?

Poor game but 3 important points, mainly for Taylor. Very lucky regarding the offside decision, but you have to admit, if we had been playing a better side, dread to think what would had happened. Very much what I expected, scrape a win and Taylor lives to fight another day (game) …. To be continued 🙄. Ridiculous how tight the league table looks from 15th upwards UTFG!! How’s it lucky ? He was offside and stood in front of our keeper. That’s not lucky it’s offside. Just like Thomas wasn’t unlucky with his shot , it just wasn’t quite on target.

Some go against you some go for you.
We had a lot of refereeing decisions go against us tonight and we hit the bar a few times. In the end luck was on our side.
We were the better team tonight and there are at least four teams worse than us. There are some good players in this squad. We will get better.
Now is not the time for sh**ting the bed. The league is tight in the mid pack. Weve got an easier run of games coming so time to pick up some points.

Shrews disallowed goal...

Edit: Well done to Griffiths for appealing. Without that, the ref and lino would not have a decision to make.
Without VAR I guess it's impossible for the linesman to know, all he can see is JM stood offside, it's probably down to the ref to decide and he was, fortunately, useless all night.

Two dreadful sides, relegation battle without relegation or much battle!!
Inclined to agree Taylor subs / formation switch poor, but think after watching that and Saturday I still worry we lack any real talent or application on the pitch. Happy with 3 points and think Manse spoke with a lot of sense: build and don’t panic, hard though that is!

With the exception of Crawley the next 4 look tough in Reading, Lincoln, Crawley & Mansfield

Very rare thing but that is how refereeing should be, take time to make right decision, not pressure to decide in an instant. He obvs saw something and sought assistant ref input. Very glad it went our way

My initial reaction was it Was offside and the linsman seemed pretty sure

He had more than adequate time to get back onside or out of the goalmouth if you watch the video - but just stood there offside like a lemon. Only one person to blame for that offside call.

I dunno mate, he’s not in the line of sight at all He may not be in the keeper’s eye like but he’s miles offside and certainly a distraction at the very least. If that goal was given against us we’d be absolutely livid.

If I was Shrewsbury I’d moan and if it was given I’d moan 🤣

There was loads of battle , everyone put in a shift and Taylor clearly hasn’t lost the dressing room as some are saying either. By our standards this has been a good start to a league 1 season. The current feeling on here reminds me a lot of the Coughlan situation. People should be careful about what they wish for. There was champions league on Tv tonight if people want pretty football,we’re a lower league 1 club fighting to get as high as we can. I really don’t know what people expect.
