Weโd be ok as a team if we could defend. Yeah coupled with some passing and on target shooting we could go far

Defending let us down tonight. Was expecting a bit more effort and desire from the fringe players trying to force their way in. Looked flat second half The defence at the end was Moore, Taylor, Forbes and Bolingo with Griffiths behind them!!

McCormick looks tired. I suppose having to jog about for 90 minutes once a fortnight does that. Probably a blessing we are out of this competition before exhaustion sets in History suggests that many a footballer has stolen a living from the game and never really had thier heart in it. LMc is consistently looking like that kind of player IMO. In that covid-season when on loan LMc looked a real prospect, Barton went the extra mile to get him from Orient but he's never produced the form of his loan season or time at Orient. There must be a player in there but it's hard to see where at present. Would not be surprised to see him moved on at Christmas.

Pizza cup or not, we arenโt good enough. No complaints at all if MT loses his job.

Just watching the last part if this game. Now I know that stats were rubbished on here recently and are now officially useless.. Exeter have better basic stats than us tonight, as do Southampton, Stockport and Bolton. Must be just a coincidence this evening but it appears that possession and shots on goal have been profitable so far. Anybody at the game, how's the vibe? Donโt worry, they will tell you on here we ended well ๐๐๐ผ Negative possession, less shots on goal, less corners, looks great and wide open because we are chasing the game again. Driving instructor telling the student the handbrake is on again. Keeps telling him to go on the front foot and win from the start (fly off in 1st gear). Donโt fecking insult me and us with Top 6, Rotherham massive club, now Exeter a form side ๐๐๐ผ 2 in front of the defence tonight.

Just not acceptable against Exeter reserves/ boys. If we canโt beat WSM comprehensively on Saturday surely Taylor has to go.

Exeter head and shoulders above us, some brilliant youth players, better than the likes of sousa and garret who are at championship clubs. Mccormick and Thomas playing like they don't want to be here/lack of confidence/can't be bothered delete as appropriate. Positives, Griffiths commanded his area better, Hutchinson played well. Felt for Taylor, he played OK apart from the slip.

MT is going to find it harder and harder to defend performances like this. That said this was down to individual errors and a couple treating it like a kick-about in the park. Does not help the case for MT.

Beautiful goal by Hutchinson!
Shaq looked fired up when he came on which was good to see ๐
Also a plus to see Martin get a run out ๐
As for the result part of me is glad to be out of the pizza cup.

2 of that Exeter squad were in their squad on Saturday, TWO.
Connor Taylor, abysmal. Forbes, has he ever played the game before? McCormick, how does he keep getting a deal here? His time is up, surely
Yet again another highlighting of those just about worth sticking with, but plenty more than can be shown the exit at the very next opportunity.

Hope that there is nothing medically wrong with him. Appears to have a balance issue.

We just got outplayed by Exeter... Let's just let that sink in... Still want Taylor in?? Plenty wanted Barton to stay when the Grecians smashed us at theirs, and we all know how that turned out, and no definitely not suggesting that will happen under Taylor!

Totally unacceptable beaten by a 35 year old Carayol and a load of kids. I hope the powers that be take note of this fact and get rid of the clown now.

Perhaps he can't cope playing with fans in the stadiums, although perhaps it was easy to look good when everybody else had given up playing.
