No. I think we`d have to be in the bottom four and in danger of being cut adrift, before the board would sack him.

I think he would get the sack, if we lose. A lot of fans have turned already. If we lose today, it won't be good around the club and it would be very hard for him to come back from.

If he wins will the fans get off his back? No. A win at home against a team from the second tier of non league football, is unlikely to placate the fans who want him gone. Only a decent and sustained run of form, will do that.

A no win day for MT if ever there was one.

IF I had my way these constant sack Taylor threads that are started every single day would stop - they are poorly disguised and are now getting so tedious and ruining this forum….I get that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea and the season and performances have been inconsistent but what did people expect with a really young and inexperienced team (which was the board’s direction to take)….
Everyone is entitled to have an opinion but it’s so dull seeing constant swiping and digs no matter what….

A no win day for MT if ever there was one. A situation largely of his own making.

Sack Taylor threads are not started every single day though 🤷♂️ Is our team any younger and more inexperienced than the next?

It`s league form that counts though. Fail to win any of the three consecutive home league matches we`ve got coming up, and the board might start to give the matter serious consideration.

Ok not started every single day I’ll give you that, but every thread seems to end up falling into Taylor’s crap he should be sacked - or that’s my perception from reading them…. Win lose or draw, talking about the stadium, talking about anything it always ends up digressing to Taylor - you get my drift and there has been a number of poorly described threads over the last couple of weeks that is just constant Taylor bashing… this one, Ten Haag one are just 2 that come to mind without looking… Re age of squad - yes comparatively and yes re inexperience - especially taking into account the huge turnover of players and shift in direction… people moaned about Barton and that he split the fan base, people moaning about Taylor, people moaned about Garner, people moaned about Tisdale, people moaned about Coughlan and people were even moaning about DC… Have we ever looked at ourselves as a fanbase as it seems we are never happy…

Certainly, the City fans that I work with, tell me that their forum is only ever three defeats away from going up like Krakatoa.

Why do you think the fanbase never seem to be happy? Should that be the focus of the owners to generate more money/income/favour? Are we below where the fanbase thinks we should be? Do we entertain, are we an enjoyable proposition? It's all well and good internally scrapping on here, but if the club got a grip of itself, we might see some unity. It's not exactly difficult. But yeah, I do agree with your points BTW 👍

But yeah, I do agree with your points BTW 👍 It’s hard to say - I think society in general now wants more instant gratification and the younger generations have more of ‘we expect’ this as they’ve grown up generally in times where everything has come to them easily’ figuratively speaking rather than having had to work hard and graft to earn it or the right….. massive generalisation I know …. I also think football has changed so much with the massive influx of money into the premier league and foreign talent that that has massively affected expectations… lastly the older amongst us remember the connectivity and underdog siege mentality approach of the Twerton days and also the ‘glory’ days of the mid 70’s so harp back to that without considering that football is a very different beast these days (again big generalisations)… The gas have always been a team that has fluctuated between the 3rd and 4th tier with the odd float with the 2nd tier so I think generally speaking we are where we’d expect to be. Do I want more and aspire for more? Definitely… but to get there we need to have the finance, the stadium and infrastructure in place and we don’t have that and won’t have that until we get lucky with an extremely rich benefactor and planning permission and land availability and support changes… The Mem is a money pit and because of its age it’s costly and difficult to do anything to significantly improve it other than using the temporary approach that was used with the south stand etc - I’m thinking electrics, sewage, water pipes etc which are all Victorian era underground…. Personally the entertainment hasn’t been as bad as being made out imo but it’s all down to opinions….. we’ve had some poor games but others have been better and in most we’ve had passages of play where we’ve looked good etc… 👍
