Shame not to win that. Over the 90 I thought we shaded it. First half we were the better team, 2nd half probably quite even.
A better performance overall, the team is slowly starting to gel. It’s shows a bit of progress that I’m disappointed that we’ve not won today. A while ago we’d have lost this but we absolutely more than matched lincoln

Yeah god knows why Forde gets into the team Topper 🤣 I haven't been on this forum long but this Topper seems a right whopper! And you've just told a big whopper!

One of the worst performances of a right back I’ve ever seen Really when the game ended 1-1?

An ok performance we looked more solid at the back, connor Taylor had a very good game. Scored a good goal, just a pity we couldn't hold on as overall we definitely shaded it. Lincoln nothing special.

We deserved at least a point today and many would have taken draw beforehand.
Much improved against a horrible Lincoln side and a useless ref.

Relatively happy with that result against a decent team . Could and should have won it if McCormick had nodded in that easy header. Thought Taylor Moore had a poor game today, if he wasn’t falling over his own feet he was giving the ball away constantly.

The defence is looking much better especially when you consider Lincoln's strength from set pieces. We still aren't creating too much but given that we only have Martin up front and he's making his way back from injury, it's hardly surprising. It's not exactly inspiring stuff but we are slowly improving. We desperately need to improve our attacking play though!

Very happy with a point today, take all 3 next weekend against Crawley and it looks a decent 7 days.

Martin miss was a shame but a good point and pretty solid throughout. Needed to test there keeper and Moore had a really bad day! UTG

Probably a fair point, save for one or two really poor individual performances think we could've won it. Definite signs of improvement and great to see the wily fox Martin up to his old tricks again. UTG

Great point against a side in the top 6 with an awesome away record. There's a few miseries on here tonight. Get a beer and lighten up! UTG.

A fair result against a decent promotion chasing team who worked hard. The chance created for Martin had it been taken was the difference between a draw and a win
Taylor Moore was appalling.

I bet if that Macca head had fell to Martin we'd be talking about 3 points tonight. Maybe, also if his first touch when Hutch put him through was better we would have been out of sight. Annoying to concede as we looked alright for the win. Thought we were much better on the break today, attacking with speed and putting Lincoln on the back foot. Really starting to like Hutch as a player, seems to be finding some form. He's got a good cross on him, between him and Shaq Martin could start bagging the goals

Decent point that, played well, feel we could’ve won but always felt like we’d be on back foot after scoring. Defended pretty well though tbf. Happy and optimistic

Just got back..
Nice day with some of you... Early doors at Anchor offered a free drink... mucho gracious... Shame no live football on offer though. Other places were more welcoming. Nice with a new friend into the mix...
Anyhoos onto less important things: On a misty Mem afternoon /eve, I thought a draw was a fair result. Really liked their no14, seemed to sweep up everything in front of their defence, Lincoln came down with a fair following, all piled into new stand but majority stood up, and one moment of magic made Lindsay a bit of a sausage as he ended up on his @rse, nutmegged and ball in net. I thought they defended well. So did we. I thought our mid out performed theirs in first half, but ran out of ideas in second. Both teams missed easier chances, and I think even though Lincoln finished the game stronger, both teams would be content with the draw.
If I'm right, forgetting the crazy boycott cup, that's 2 defeats in last 7 for MT. 4 wins, 1 draw, and defeats against Wycombe (top) and Huddersfield away (graveyard) so we are where we are to be expected, including Reading defeat almost forgot. But today playing a team in play offs with momentum....can anyone seriously say they 100% expected us to win today before a ball was kicked? Most would have taken a draw. It could have gone either way, I thought we were good for the result and competed well.
CT seems to be going from strength to strength. Wilson backed him up. TM for me had a poor match where his play wasn't picked up by the rest of the team and a bit of a weak link . Fantastic solo claim of the ball and shot from Forde....his other link plays and runs were great to see....more from him please! But for me, Mola my m o m as he seemed to flow with confidence, nothing went past him and even the tweak in formation after being Forbes on didn't sway him. Excellent engine on him, a key player today.
Mid done ok, and generally we defended well - as they did - so quite content tonight after the juice of the apple subsides.
Decent result, MT. Decent run of form, we look a bit more composed and organised. Lincoln still have a lot of work to do, you can see why they're dangerous...if there's not much between us and we're validly competing v a team in play offs in this division I think most Gas would be content with this at this stage in season..
More to come... UptheGas!

More to come... UptheGas! I've just got back too. Pretty much agree with all comments. Would've bitten your hand off for a point that the beginning. The only negative for me was that we brought Forbes on too early. We then sat back and it's no coincidence that was their best part of the game. I felt the game was there for the taking, they didn't like it up them. I was so surprised what a long ball team they were, made us look like we were playing expansive football. What I can see is that their forward line are very quick. They got the ball from the back to the front very quickly when we sometimes spend too much time on the ball. Not much in it.

10 points from our last 6 games which is actually the same form as Lincoln. Can we stop talking about sacking Taylor now and just try and create some positivity and look forward ? Up The Gas.
