When Barton got sacked the owners got stick for not having a plan and having someone lined up. Now we hear that owners are trying to line someone up and it's presented as a negative. Just another day in the 'have cake and eat it' Rovers fan. Come on mate, I’m all for being proactive but when the players go to the manager and say, my agency is telling me we have just interviewed ……….. …………. Are you leaving gaffer? It’s hardly professional?! And the agency then apparently rang Taylor to tell him as well because they were so watered off how we tried to cut them out! It doesn't really say a lot about the job agency either? If we were top 6, as we were under GC, and the owners were sounding out agents about managers I'd be concerned but given where we were in the table it's hardly surprising they were making enquiries.

It was in direct response to the observation the the dark side was attracting the youth fans. The Manchester observation was that Man City were in a place where the young fans were following man utd as they were successful and Man City were doing their lower league tour. Now that Man City have success, they are not only attracting the youth of Manchester but also the youth of Bristol. So, if we can get to a point of being more successful than the sh'eds then the youth will return in numbers. He also justified it by saying city have lots of seats spare so can give kids £50 a season ticket with a free football shirt but we don't have that so can't do it. Where I'm stood on the thatchers I can see a few thousand spare seats every home game in the south stand so that excuse doesn't wash. They don't have a clue on how to run or grow a football club so I hope there is someone else in the pipeline that will come in and do it properly. Not sure that's really the case as all the seats in the West & East Stand are taken by season tickets holders and the seats in the new stand are cheap anyway for kids? Are the Dutch trio likely to have any idea how to run a mid table L1 club, the ex Man U players are hardly doing a great job at Salford?

The more I hear about the goings on at rovers this season the more I think I want Taylor to stay and keep us up. I think that would be deemed a success if all this sh*t is true 🤣

If we were top 6, as we were under GC, and the owners were sounding out agents about managers I'd be concerned but given where we were in the table it's hardly surprising they were making enquiries. Spot on I’d have sacked him weeks ago because I think his football and tactics is doing more damage whilst waiting for a new man. We are handing out medals for better performances against Reading and Lincoln but we only got one point. Also as a home side with £1 million paid fees on the pitch, bar Martin’s error to make a shot, we never tested their keeper. The Rovers fan bench mark seems to be over the moon with effort now after his 46 games in charge. I keep saying we are the person who can’t end the relationship in December because Christmas is coming up and both parties know it’s over really but in our case, it’s not even December or Christmas 😂 6 weeks to find a manager, now the players telling Taylor they are interviewing for his job. Wilson admitted “if we lost we knew what was on the line” as Abdul told them all Taylor would be sacked. Split boardroom, that’s true as well, leaks all over the place, we are mess. Wael sold us to some strange people, and you are right as well Topper, he allowed bullying to go on his watch with Belshaw, Thomas, HGT, all under Barton.

There are definitely 2000 if not close to it spare seats in their every week. It was a bullshit*t excuse used by abdulatif to try and justify hiking kids prices. Made no business sense at all for the long term growth of the club.

I can believe that the majority owners aren't getting things right, I'm not and have never been a fanboy of any owner/chairman etc.
What's interesting is someone setting up a new account to tell all, just as Wael is obviously preparing to exit stage left (not saying you're Wael but we all know he has a cast list of a few that are his useful gossip spreaders).
He's not alone, that's been the same since the days of the infamous Gas List, a Yahoo usergroup (anyone under 30, ask your dad) where a sadly departed board member gave out secrets to selected fans as an ego trip.
Another very similar turn of events is ex/due to be ex owners/chairmen using their contacts to slate the new brooms. Happened to Wael in the early days at the hands of Higgs allies and Hamer ones.
What I'm not having is some re-telling of the Wael in sole charge era as some sort of golden age where everything was done well. Cos that's a work of fiction.

Anyway if the Bergkamp/Ljungberg rumour is true they'll need a backer.
They were speaking to Daniel Ek, owner of Spotify, trying to get him to buy Arsenal. Now Rovers is a bit of a step down (or several) but he is worth £6bn!
I mean, obviously it's bollocks, this is Rovers, knowing our luck, by the time all EFL clubs are owned by celebrities we'll have somehow been picked out by the P Diddy/Gary Glitter consortium.

I'd imagine Abdulatif thought we'd be pushing for a top 6 place and selling tickets wouldn't be an issue, unfortunately football isn't that easy.

Aren't most kids tickets £1 now, not sure I've seen a great rush for tickets, we'll only attract 8,000/9,000 gates if we're winning games, if we gave them away now kids still wouldn't to watch us.

They have no interest in the long term growth of this football club. They couldn't give a sh*t that the younger generation arnt attending and our fan base will dwindle year on year. That's the reason I'm worried where we are heading under this mob and would welcome a change.

It’s all gonna come out in Jan/feb!!! Why the wait and what is really going to come out? Why don't the potential investors just make an offer which is too good for the ALS' to turn down? If you are on contact with Weal ask him why he sanctioned half the squad training in the north west during the week, as that's one thing I could never get my head around.

Agree with this ! 😦 Honestly think they thought we’d be pushing for top 6 and we’d sell a lot more tickets. Winning football fills stadiums.

Problem is what is the change, reverting back to Wael talking nonsense about imaginary stadiums whilst praising an idiot like JB, or 3 ex Premiership players who won't have a clue how a club like Rovers operates?
