Love these threads. A host of entertainment through the long winter evenings. I especially enjoy people getting irked about the plans when nobody has the faintest idea what the plans are. Or if there even are any plans. Or even a consortium.

To add fuel to the BergCAMP fire, it would explain why he wrote the message last week about pass the ball to me. Wael needs to stoke this one on his Instagram account with an image of Dutch tulips and a reference to Eastville flower beds. A non-Roadman exclusive. 😀 Wael didn’t write that last week. It’s been his bio for years

Going to be a whole lot of disappointment when Wael leaves and we find out it’s the Kuwaitis who have taken his share on.

No idea what Kuzhekan is at Google suggests that word has no meaning but if you implying I'm wrong then Google suggests otherwise? "Wycombe Wanderers Football Club is owned by Blue Ocean Partners II Limited, which is owned by Mikheil Lomtadze, a Kazakhstan-based billionaire:" ‘Cos he can . . . Geddit? I think you're a bit late to that party?

Going to be a whole lot of disappointment when Wael leaves and we find out it’s the Kuwaitis who have taken his share on. Not really as surely that'll mean they are still intending with redeveloping the Mem etc, as at the moment it's not really clear what they intend doing given the silence.

Away end at Burton, plenty of pints at the Mem. We will see 😉 Hold on is it a goodbye tour or is he staying on with Bergkamp, Laarson and Kuyt. Feels like some bet hedging here... He’s already said Hussain doesn’t want to sell. Therefore Wael won’t be taking over with this mob.

Maybe they’ll get planning and then sell it on to someone else who can feed us a load of bullshit on why they won’t build it.

Reference where you think I’m hedging my bets? * I think it’s a goodbye tour * We’ve had 2 offers, Hussain doesn’t want to sell * One of the of the two offers will soon go public I’ve PM’d you, Mark McBurney is trying to get hold of you.

Why would someone go public ? Either the offer is accepted or not. Unless of course they have links to Rovers and the fan base would get on board with their bid but I still don’t see how that changes anything. Maybe I’m being thick, wouldn’t be the first time !

Hedging bets as the OP said Wael is involved with this consortium, which youve said is true. So hes either leaving or hes taking over the club, too quite different scenarios. Mark is hardly trying very hard to get hold of me, why doesnt he drop me a PM on here. If Mark wants to meet me I stand on the East Terrace every home game; am in the Welly from 1.15 til 5 minutes before kick off and The Sportsman for a few hours afterwards. He won't though as he's in the club that pretended to be boycotting the Gas for moral reasons and a year on from Barton being removed still hasn't come back.

To be fair the Kuwaitis are the first owners in my lifetime that have paid out similar in transfer funds to what we’ve brought in when selling a couple of players for big money. I feel that I barely know who they even are because they’re so quiet but I don’t dislike them and as I’ve said they’ve certainly paid out some big transfer fees by our standards in the summer. A connection with the fanbase would be lovely but they do seem to have put their money where their mouths are.

Looking forward to one of the offers going public I’m told he probably would do but he’s purchased the is for his only son and he’s put aside money for the project. Abdul doesn’t want to sell. My last comment on it, I don’t know anymore, just what I’ve said.
