Of all the things I expected to wake up and read this morning, this was the least likely. WTAF?!

More unrest, Wael could fall out with a Christmas tree fairy. Do we want Barton, Garner, the thieving Col Gibson, lounge lizard Gorringe back at the club ! I think not, back the Kuwaities, at least they know how a business should be run. Not much sign so far of the ALS being able to run a business, given that crowds are down by over 1,000 a match on last season and the Mem looks exactly the same as when the ALS arrived. Tbf it took 7 years for the previous bloke to put up a cattle shed instead of a tent. Do we think Michael Cunnah advised him to do that?

Yes UWE and Fruit Market. I agree that the latter was probably never really much more than Wael’s fantasy but my point is that Daniel just swallows verbatim whatever the owner tells him including that it was ever a goer in the first place. UWE was the best opportunity this club has ever had or probably ever will have to move to a higher plain. Everything was in place except Higgs didn’t have the money to push it over the line once Sainsbury’s collapsed. Yet too many of our supporters fall for the Al Qadi line that the deal wasn’t in the best interests of the FC when in reality they just didn’t want to or were unable to commit the required capital. So the deal that was bad for the club was made up, but the fact that UWE was the best deal the club has ever had (that you've just made up) is true. Makes sense. The only facts around UWE is that no one knows what the deal was, or whether it was good or bad for the club. I understand your view point but the club tried to revisit UWE at least once.

It might not be related, but the local council in Amsterdam are looking for a new home for the "erotic" part of town.
From the "Red Light Zone" to the "Blue and White Quarter", that would make the local residents happy 😊
This would obviously improve our chances of getting promoted, as we'd score at home every week.

Going off piste here but how are you pronouncing Badengas? Would help in the dispute over how to pronounce the new Conservative leaders name

Tripple apparently, Bergkamp, Larson and Dirk Diggler Larsson is a Swede.
2 Dutch blokes and a Swede wanted to buy a Football Club......Maybe a joke there somewhere?
Don’t like Swedes, I’ve been married 20 years ….. I’ve got Stockholm syndrome.

Reading between the lines on the forum, the owners intend to fund everything by building on the Quarters and Mem and then selling players at a profit.
Makes you wonder if Taylor is more under threat if no players sold at end of season than league position.

Now I feel alive, I have purpose… thank you Doctor. So I’m thinking a coffee shop / Brothel in the new East Stand would bring in some extra revenue.

It could have been Henri Lloyd, Denis Healey and Dirk Bogarte mind you, as we're of advanced years and the hearing isn't what it was. 🏴☠️

Recall a group of Dutch football fans coming to the Mem when we had three tents and commenting that it was unusual to have stands at a training ground!!!

Not really sure what your point is to be honest re Twitter. I don't think the Alsaeeds attend games. Are you happy with the Alsaeeds? If Wael now wants to regain control but has backing elsewhere, I have more faith on him. Would the Alsaeeds written off 30m of debt, I don't think so. Daniel is happy with everything Rovers related, until it changes and then he's happy with the changes, regardless what they actually are! The fact the Mem redevelopment seems to have ground to a halt must be a concern for most fans, although as Daniel rarely attends home games then perhaps that's not an issue for him? Don't talk rubbish, where have I said I'm happy with everything? I have said many times we need to improve the stadium and training facilities etc. I haven't said I'm happy with the owners, or that I don't want new owners? All I said is some people are moaning that they are too involved and others are moaning that they are not involved. I think your making stuff up, as you always seen to go the opposite to what people say and contradict yourself constantly and change your opinions more times than the weather changes! One minute your arguing for something, the next against it🤣. I'm not sure why you are slagging me off, when I wasn't even talking to you and I was only pointing out that people say the opposite about how involved the owners are.

If Wael now wants to regain control but has backing elsewhere, I have more faith on him. Would the Alsaeeds written off 30m of debt, I don't think so. Daniel has always been happy with all of the owners because he can’t separate the best interests of the owners from the best interests of the FC. He has seen 2 potential game changing opportunities for the FC to build grounds that would take us to another level thrown away by the owners of the FC and yet he has fervently supported whoever threw away the opportunity because he can’t distinguish between the interests of the owner and the best interests of the FC. And here he is is now supporting the owners again for not communicating with the fans about what plans they might have to develop the Mem, the club and our potential. Tell me where I supported the owners? I just said people are saying the opposite things about them. I don't have a clue what they are doing, as we don't hear from them. So I'm not for or against them! All I know, is that they have backed the manager and held meetings with local residents. None of us will know if they are doing the right things at this stage, but I don't pretend to be in the know and pretend to know everything!!

Forever the eternal optimist. Must be a nice place to be though. Just to ask, what two projects are we talking about? The UWE is obviously one but that fruit market deal can’t be classed the same. It was so so so far away from being done it’s laughable. Yes UWE and Fruit Market. I agree that the latter was probably never really much more than Wael’s fantasy but my point is that Daniel just swallows verbatim whatever the owner tells him including that it was ever a goer in the first place. Beat deal for the club. Even though we were giving away naming rights, it was having lecture halls, uni gyms, uni bars, jogging track for the uni. Anyone that read the plans, could see that or wasn't what was best for us. If it was what was best for us, we would have signed it.
