Which is perhaps OK if you have a season ticket but who's going to pay on the day to see us perform like yesterday in the second half? If we do gates will be down to 6,000 and the restless booing us off every match. You give the impression that you are more bothered about crowds than the owners seem to be. The club is earning more from Sky than they ever have done. Yesterday's game was live on Sky. I think people are staying home to watch it on the telly. The owners are looking at players as assets to sell. I think that makes more sense as they can make more money from a player than gates receipts for a whole season! Conteh would be my guess as the first to go, might even be in January. Would expect over £1m and add ons.

Hands up, I didn’t go, I didn’t watch it on Sky, I chose to spend my money on the kids, on something they would enjoy doing, even though it was probably more painful for me than what most of you watched in the second half. We’ve done a few Away games, but no interest at the moment, it’s all quite sad, the feeling, after last seasons drabness it was like Atkins all over again.

Our fans aren't just staying at home because it's on telly. It's because the entertainment is sh** in a ramshackle excuse of a stadium!

For some reason I can't reply to Gasify. But a million for Conteh?
Frankly we're gonna need a jump in his development before anyone takes that risk.

How did we agree with Watford a £700k deal for Forde ?.
He hardly played in the championship not played particularly well
How did we agree £550k with Fleetwood for Promise ? Who frankly has struggled
Do I need to mention our Cypriot international from Leyton Orient?
Who sanctioned Kofi Shaw loan move to Yeovil Town? When clearly we need him as Martin is struggling
George Friends judgement surely in question

A championship club paying £1M for an up and coming international. For that Championship club, two seasons he'll be worth £10M. Worth a puny for a mid table Championship side.

Conteh is now playing so poorly he's been dropped from international duty? The only player whose value has probably risen this season is Griffiths!! I can't see we'd even get our money back for Conteh, Omochere or Sotiriou at present, with Taylor probably now finally back to his form under JB. I've always said the only way to get good money for players is to play them in a top performing side, as nobody is going to be in a rush to buy players from a mid to lower league side, apart from the odd outstanding player.

If the owners aren't bothered about crowds why discuss redeveloping the Mem with the planners etc? Plus why cut kids prices to £1 if they don't want more fans at the ground?

As far as Shaw he's hardly going to replace Martin, although surely he couldn't have been any worse than Sinclair or LT yesterday? Signing Antony and Ellison to then send out on loan seems odd when we need players for the first team not players needing a year or so development in non league. Meanwhile Crawley signed an ex Arsenal striker this week whose gone straight into the first team squad.

I thought their plan was pretty common knowledge. You were atvthe fans forum, isn't that what they said?

Topper is all over the place as always , next week he’ll be saying that Conteh is premiership bound. 😂

Just responding to your post stating he's an up and coming international when he's clearly not, for whatever reasons, at the moment. Subbing him off and leaving Lindsay on was one of MT's stranger decisions yesterday when Conteh and Ward have usually impressed together recently.

But I think there's alot he needs to do before a move comes along. He's got a chance of going through the leagues but £1m in Jan? Seems over-valued.

The players we’ve paid for are going to need to up their game massively if we are to make a profit - at the moment we’re more likely to be making big losses on them.
