Why not? They appointed him. Just my gut feeling that it’s not them that have been pulling in the direction of keeping him. It’s not they have been trying for ages to clear him out

Funny how suddenly all the forums etc are all gutted now and backing wael. This won’t end well Your MO has been very obvious since day one. Let’s see if your “sources” continue with info.

Wael was paying wages & debts that Higgs couldn't cover (he told me in confidence at the takeover) . He kept us afloat during covid . He capitalised huge debts . A true gashead . A bloody decent man . A very sad day . I have my reservations about new mob . I sincerely hope they can take us on & not keep selling parts of training ground to cover ever increasing football debts . They are property developers by trade . Hope my fears be allayed .

Hmmm I'm concerned, the owners certainly aren't Wael however maybe the lack of Comms recently was to get this sorted...
Let's see if things change

This is either: (1). A massive forward step. (2). The beginning of the end. (3). A very disappointing outcome. (4). Exceptionally good news. (5). None of the above. (6). ALL OF THE ABOVE. Couldn’t agree more, we’ve either been hung out to dry or there’s a more favourable owner waiting to step in. Either way does nothing for our chances tomorrow

Announce concrete (or fabricated) plans for a new stadium development to replace the dump that is the Mem and I’ll be happy….. Until then……. UTG For me Wael will be remembered as a legend, I am not as old as some, but what he has done surely place him up there with Dunford senior. Wael wrote off 30+ millions of debt and bought the club its first permanent training ground. Without Wael it really could have been curtains for the club. Now onto the future, a new bright future in a modern ground is what I want to see. It's ridiculous we don't know anything at all after a year. Surely it is time for club to let us know what is going on.

Guess this puts the Dutch mob out of the picture. Quite happy to see how things pan out and no more worried with this lot than any other past owners.

Good old Roady finger on the pulse again, same 💩🏠’s shutting me down, I said he was a on goodbye tour.
“He’s gone in the away end before” 😂👏🏼
I might post something I heard earlier in the week from another club with the same people interested in them as well but I can’t right now.

What do you mean, surely it was racked up before and some of it during Waels time. Hard to believe all that debt was accumulated during the time Wael took over and it was written off.

As for the man, some sadness Wael is going, we had some good times, he cared and tried his best but I think it all changed when he gave Wife Beater the job which was a terrible appointment. He won’t see this but he split the fan base and it was never the same.
Wish him and his family all the best but it’s not an instant goodbye, it’s over 18 months and you never know in this game! But let’s hope over his remaining time he and we see some more good times together again.
Thanks Wael.

Apart from the Quarters we're not really in a better position than when he bought us, team and stadium wise, and none of us know where we're now heading under the Al Seead's, let's just hope Wael hasn't sold us down the river. It's time really for the Al Seead's to show their true colours by giving an interview with Radio Bristol either tomorrow or on next week's Having a Gas or Saturday Sport.

A period of calm May come over BS7 as we wait for communication that will surely come. Goodbye to Wael, be good to see him continue his support one way or the other. Fingers crossed for positivity from our new owners, and a bit less back slapping from the self appointed fonts of all knowledge on the forum.

So the word on the street is wael is trying to acquire more shares and buy the football club back… then literally he sells all his shares in the club to the people he’s trying to buy out 😠

They've probably stitched Wael up, now he's out of the picture they'll go ahead and accept a better offer, I just can't see they are here for the mid term, let alone the long term. I still can't really see how a property developer can find the £10m's needed to now finance a football club.

Hope to be proved wrong, but people close to the very, very dodgy Kuwaiti regime taking our club over fills me with dread.
Wael is a good man and despite his boyish wish to please everyone, would have been a far better custodian of Planet 1883 than some fantasists who play Championship Manager.
UTFG, best wishes and love to Matt Taylor and all of the players, because if this alleged takeover by the consortium doesn't happen, we're goosed.
As always and especially now:
Eff you owners 🏴☠️

They made money in finance and investments as well as development. Pointless trying to predict how much they have, as they don't broadcast it over there.

If a terrible appointment equals the greatest promotion in most of our history's , an excitement about attending the memorial again, record season ticket sales , fantastic home crowd atmosphere in comparison to the pitiful atmosphere we now have then let's hope the Hussain's make the same awful appointments as wael did. Thanks wael. ( Including your appointment of Barton )
