Good for you Jon!
P.S. Please can we keep images such as that to the Gentleman's Lounge as viewing this site in work becomes a little Russian-roulette otherwise!

The FFS was the best ting about this club for quite a while so will be pleased when it makes an appearance again.

Good news about the FFS. I'll definitely sign up if we restart.

Unlikely to be able to make any of the events this year as I won't be in Bristol, but will certainly sign up.
Jon, it seems like one of the biggest challenges is ensuring the money we raise gets used for the best means possible, as it's clear the support for the FFS is there. I feel that supporting the youth is again the best road to go down and would be great if we could forge even stronger links with them.

Agree with you 100% as long as the club properly embrace, recognise and appreciate this fantastic gesture from the fans. Oh and make sure there is transparency with the money which is pumped in !

If we can find a way of bypassing the powers that be and get it direct to the youth then that would be ideal. On a further note, let's not lose sight of the social aspect of the FFS as that along with supporting the youth has been tremendous in my eyes. A united fan base is a strong fan base after all.

If we can find a way of bypassing the powers that be and get it direct to the youth then that would be ideal. That conjours up an image of JTS, hanging around outside the gates, offering wads of notes to the youth players. I think that last year Jon worked hard to ensure that the money was allocated as chosen by the members, unfortunately none of us could have foreseen that the players we sponsored were going to leave the club. It will certainly be good to feel that I'm a very small part of BRFC, in a positive way again.

This year has certainly been an eye opener for the ineptitude that the board has for the fans, and has led me to be cynical about their actions.

Personally I would not part with another penny until I know wtf is going on. I love it that I've played a part in the FFSC but I won't put anything in until I know we can play a positive role that is accepted gratefully
