A club at this level can still spend as much as you like, if the owners can afford it. The difference is, MK Dons have Kuwaiti billionaires and we have Kuwaiti paupers. From the 25/26 season, clubs will have restrictions on how much of any owner investment over £500,000 can be spent on player wages and transfer fees. League Two clubs can only spend 50% of that investment. Very much seems like MK NEED promotion or a big cup run to sustain this? No chance their gates and income can maintain it? Owned by a Kuwaiti family with a net worth of over £1.3 billion. They get those type of owners and we get Delboy Seead and Rodneyalatiff and an IKEA south stand. |

Very random rumour that we’re after a Swiss striker called Fabrizio Cavegn - good scoring record in the Swiss second division and u21 caps for his country by the looks of things. Would be a wildcard but I would be happy with us taking a punt on a bit of an unknown quantity if we’re also looking at a proven goalscorer separately. The only place I've seen this random rumour is from you(bar a gashead putting some Swiss flags on X). |

People posting photos/gifs of Ellis on X & Facebook in last 15 mins, is it a go-er? Same people who posted pictures of JCH? Unsure mate, don’t use social media enough to work that one out. Expect it’s just a group of lads on wind up but 1 gent is certain he’s coming in. |

Harrison has signed today Gonna be one that divides opinion. However I always weirdly had a soft spot for Ellis & Tony Craig in recent years. Both think they were underrated, especially Craig. Ellis will give his all, and DC gets best out of him. I trust him. |

Ellis not a terrible signing as backup but I'll be disappointed if he's first choice. I feel like we are saying this about a lot of our forward players.

He’ll get you 8-10 goals if fit for a whole season. Not a superstar but a solid enough squad player. Another one who who’ll help shift the culture. As a squad player it’s fine, as the main man we’ve got to hope for better. |
