On that point the first goal yesterday was a result of Mola losing it in a challenge mid way in Chesterfield's half, I still haven't been able to work out where Kilgour was when he lost the ball, as it was Senior and, it looks like, Lopata who were the two covering defenders. Only Lopate can explain why he was standing in front of his opponent in our half. No wonder I couldn't spot him anywhere in defence! I assume he'd been up for a corner or similar and stayed up field, surely Mola then can't also go charging up the field? |

We did see an improvement but there is still so much to work on.
There was a bit more effort and we had defended pretty well prior to the red card incident. It was a very soft red but it was questionable defending that led up to it, and the 3 goals we conceded after that we all so poor.
It was another game where our midfield was practically non-existent and chances were few and far between. Only Howley comes out with any credit in my opinion.
Harrison and Omochere didn't look a threat up front, and I don't think any Rovers fan was surprised when Promise put our best chance of the game 4 yards wide.
I can't see things improving much until we sign 2 or 3 quality midfielders to be honest.
