Looking like a pretty big crowd though. How many pay on the day? Got to be a big amount. At a guess 2000. Anyone else got a more educated estimation? hard to tell but I imagine a lot of pay on the day people are more casual fans / fans who find it hard to plan ahead, so logically bigger games can result in more pay on the day (or buy tickets on the day - e.g. students/OAPS have to buy a tkt from the hut and then go through ticket only turnstile)

Just bought my tickets, they said around 5500 sold so far Seems like we are heading for 8,000 for this game - at least 2,000 pay on the day normally

The only caveat to that would be that many of the normal pay-on-the-dayers have probably taken up the free child ticket offer, which is 500 adults to take off the number. Even still, it's looking like a solid 7000+

Looks like the website will not let you purchase tickets for the South Stand. Not sure if this is because of tickets being held back or due to high sales volumes. Bit of a shame, as this may affect my decision of whether to go (I really prefer being seated!).

The que for pay on day isnnormally bigger then the tickets que Not for the West enclosure for sure. We are constantly forced to queue while the pay on the day turnstile is hardly used. In the past commonsense has prevailed and we have been allowed through the POD turnstile, unfortunately that has not been the case in recent home games.

The que for pay on day isnnormally bigger then the tickets que Not in the Blackthorn in my experience. For most home games, between 20-5 minutes before kick off the ticket queues are at least 10-15 deep, whilst you can go straight in on the pay-on-the-day turnstiles.

The shop claims there are no more seats - but to turn up on the day to see if there are any that have 'become available'.

The south stand was empty against Mansfield but club said it was a sell out. Interesting. I would have gone if I could have paid on the day, but there was no way I was paying in advance to see that match (even before I knew the outcome). Were we trying to get a big payday alongside a big result, and failed on the more important one?

Friendly Weekly battle with stewards to let massive queues on 2 'ticket only' turnstiles use vast array of cash only turnstiles, which areempty.
